I don’t think people should hop on gear ( I know that is a little weird based on what I said). I believe that you should stay natural their whole life because it is the healthiest way to live. If i would take steroids, then whenever I get off I’m probably going to look like a spray-tanned anchovy. As a natural lifter it will be constant strength until I’m older unless i get injured. There is no massive regress in strength and size as a natural. If I ever take time off for some reason and lose my strength then muscle memory will kick in and I will get back the strength I lost very fast once I start training again. Lots of people look for the quick fix for there size and they sadly turn to steroids. In my opinion and the facts from science, steroids may lead you to many health problems and a decrease in life expectancy.
I’;m actually 15, lol
That is why I am asking him the question.
But sure, moral relativism is always fun.
I am not asking if you think steroids are ethical, I am asking if you feel it is ethical to offer advise on a topic where you have no expertise.
I personally wouldn’t advise people to use steroids unless prescribed by a doctor or they’re already elite in their strength sport. For example, a natty bodybuilder who’s put in some time, or a natty powerlifter or strongman who’s been competing drug tested for a while. If OP was already in bodybuilding shows and placing well enough to take it to the next level, I’d say go for it.
On a related note, since we’re talking about sports, I also think it should be criminalized for combat athletes to be on any gear, probably with an “assault with a deadly weapon” charge because the current repercussions in combat sports for PED use are a joke for something so dangerous for other fighters and themselves.
I really don’t think that people should listen to my opinion only. I have so much more to learn and there are so many other people with much more experience than me. I only tell you what I hear from others.
I genuinely do not understand why you aren’t answering my question. Have I phrased it poorly?
I completely agree with you on the combat fighting part.
I don’t think ethics has anything to do with sharing an opinion
If we were only allowed to voice our opinios based on who was an Expert, this place would be a ghost town. There is maybe 10 people on here, maybe a few more, who are what I would say qualified enough to give expertise advice. I don’t think the kid you are questioning is giving medical advice. Most kids come on here asking for advice, knowing they are going to do whatever they like anyways.
Me personally, always try to steer kids away from drugs. For one, there is no need to shut down his natural production at such a young age. BUT for the smartasses that come in, not wanting to hear anything, I tell them to shoot a gram.
Even if doing so results in a poor signal to noise ratio?
I don’t think that I understand what you are saying
I agree.
But the good part of having the experts here is that the best/correct information makes its way through.
Im natty elitist AS FUCK, so I’m not the best person to say if somebody should cycle or not. I’d most likely say no every time. I think @flipcollar is the best to provide his input to these kinda threads when he does though.
I got a geometry final tomorrow so for now you don’t have to deal with my opinion anymore.
Good luck. As soon as I am done with my lunchable and juicebox I will be right back on here giving my non-expert opinion.
Hopefully Aristotle the next day.
Nah I got work tomorrow after school.
LOL Cheese and rice. He is just a kid. You could have chosen a different expression to convey what you meant. The kid is probably googling it. Could have just used lost in translation or misunderstanding?
