How Do You Feel After Lifting?

After lifting tonight, I feel tired, pumped, and hungry especially when I did my rowing session along with weights so my back has been worked to the bone.

I feel like I could kill somebody.

I feel better after a workout than before one. It always energizes me and clears my mind, even after heavy squats or deads. Only a few times have I felt bad after a workout, and that was because I tried to train while sick.

Didn’t Arnold say, " When I get pumped up, I feel like I’m cuming!"

Kind of gross if you take it literally.

i usually feel awesome after a workout. the 5x10 ABBH days are killing me, though. i feel like i’m either gonna throw up or pass out, but in a good way.

Sore.

Unusually sore cause I just started working out.

Throwing up can feel pretty good sometimes, haha.

Usually by the time I get home the endorphins have been released and I’m feeling pretty good. Also that feeling of the pump after doing a few sets for one bodypart is nice.

Also to me a long workout is the equivalent of an hour or so of meditation. It is very theraputic for me and leaves me feeling relaxed the rest of the day.

On weekends I love to take a long nap after a morning workout…I look forward to that all week.

Definitely second that. Nothing like a good, hard workout on a weekend morning. I usually follow it up with a huge meal (generally my biggest of the week) and follow that with a nap. Unless I’m doing something else, that’s usually followed by watching college football.

calorie manipulation is the key. i’ve been low carbing “barely getting by” with some 150g’s of carb. and 1800cal 180g’s of protien. feeling like crap after my workouts.
than i’ve been high calorie dieting, 2900-3200 same g’s of protien about 300g’s of carbs.
and i felt energetic, recovery time was good everything.
so i believe it is all calorie manipulation

Phill said it perfectly- but there are the days when it only feels like you’ve been hit by a truck. Afterworkout is nothing like a weed high, except maybe the videogames.
