How do you guys eat your tuna? Plain straight from the can? I’m looking for ways to make it a little more interesting. Plain tuna doesn’t taste horrible, its just dry an boring. What are some healthy ways to make tuna go down a bit easier?
Via the mouth.
Sorry, had to.
Franks hot sauce is good on tuna. Or anything, for that matter.
Can use sugar free relish, low-fat yogurt, sweet hot mustard, garlic powder, or straight out of the can if you’re watching calories.
If you’re going for high fat/calories, mayonnaise, scrambled eggs, and shredded cheese for a tuna salad
2-3 tbsp olive oil
2 cans of tune
hefty bowl of frozen spinach
couple shakes of sea salt
does the job
Low-fat yoghurt? Really? How does that taste?
Yeah i also use the olive oil, especially when im cutting. But on top of the olive oil, I throw any type of vinegar in there(champagne vinegar since thats what they have in the dining halls) and i eat celery with it
If you arent watching calories, relish is great, or pickles in general. Also love celery and cheese with it.

Not nearly as good as mayo lol…kinda “tangy”
Yuck. Don’t eat tuna.
This concoction is always pretty tasty, though somewhat dry:
1 Cup Brocolli
2 small red potatoes
2 cans tuna
Add in the squeezable horseradish, mix it all together, and you have a tasty meal.

damn im trying that. thanks.
Try this and you’ll never go back:
Mix up a can of tuna with a diced avocado, lime juice, thai chili peppers, cilantro, a little cumin, and a little olive oil. Throw some shredded pepper-jack cheese in there if you’re looking to add a little more fat.
Mix it with natty peanut butter…if you like the taste of peanut butter that is. Protein and fats as well as not tasting like fish.

That works MUUUUCH better with whey/casein supplemented protein. That sounds pretty disgusting. Peanut butter fish hahaha
i usually use a lil garlic flavored olive oil and some franks and pretend i’m having ghetto chicken wings

Well like i said… If you DONT like the taste of fish and DO like the taste of peanut butter. With the mix, I cannot taste the fish…and have had a few others try it as well with the same outcome. Try it before you knock it.
RAW sashimi style.

np, just don’t forget to cook the broccoli and potatoes in the microwave beforehand
Broccoli takes about 7 minutes and I believe 2 potatoes takes about that long as well.
I’m a big fan of “Italian” style tuna. Usually comes in a yellow can and is labeled “light tuna in olive oil”
Example: (no idea why amazon sells tuna)
It’s got a much better flavor than regular tuna imo. Olive oil adds a little fat but I’m not afraid of olive oil. I tend to just put it on top of salads w/ fruit, nuts, cheese whatever else I feel compelled to add. Good stuff!
If you can find a teriyaki sauce that’s not to bad for you, it really helps cover the fish taste
spicy tuna rolls
or
just tuna and 1tbsp vinegar when cutting
