Ah I didn’t lift in that one I tore the upper part of my lat a couple weeks before that meet.
Definately had 1-2 more reps in the tank but decided to call it.I’m less than 2 weeks out from the WCO and don’t want to over do it.
nice vids man, bigtime congrats on the 733 pull, that’s huge and I’m jealous.
Nice pull!
This was a 1 rep PR and it def felt like I may have had another in the tank but I decided to stick to the plan for the evening.
sick
Training with purpose is the only place for me. It’s like I’ve awoken from a bad dream and found myself right where I need to be!! My buddy Eddie was out to train this week and made this vid for me. The naration was just what I needed to hear!!
This was A 30# PR for me!! 550 on the platform soon!!
Hell yeah! That’s amazing.
This was last Wednesday, just a couple of days before having my bicep re attached. This bar will definitely be my best friend in the coming months as it will be one of the only ways that I can perform max effort lower body work without putting too much stress on my arm.
And yes, for me these were ass to grass (it’s low as I go)

Pre Bicep tear bench PR
This was just a few days before the tear. I had completely forgotten about it. I’ll be back at it soon enough!!
First heavy pulls post surgery.
585 was where I had initially planned to stop as the bands were only taking 100 out of the bottom and nothing the last 2-3" but I felt no pain and the weight was moving so easily that I decided on one last jump.
675 x 1
Surprisingly this set felt fine and blasted up with ease. As I sat and considered jumping to 765 with Jeff I came to 2 conclusions.
- I had already gone 90# past plan for the day.
- Though my body felt great I had that feeling that said “This might not be a good idea”. Which is the one I typically ignore when I’ve “proven” a stupid idea in the past.
So naturally I decided to hang it up for the day. Besides I’ve never felt this strong this early in a training cycle so I certainly have no complaints.
