stiff dead 5x5 225lbs
chin up 5 sets

used belt and wrestling shoes(thin soles) for deads today

Good number on the deadlift. I’m going to have to work a little harder to stay ahead

Beastly numbers there, eco.

Looking like time for another comp.

Iron, trying like hell to catch you.
Skid, not many comps around the NH area. A couple in the late spring/early summer. But I would like to try another one.

nice #s eco - keep it up. strong military presses

What did you not like about the Wendler 531, Eco? Although it looks like you are still using elements of it in your exercise selection.

Way to hammer out the numbers.

I was only benching once a week. I found I progress faster benching twice a week. I talored the workout a little adding a bench type movement on my military press day and workout 4 times a week some times. After 3 weeks I plan on doing a week or 2 of dynamic/de-load workouts.

OK, looks like it is working for you.

12/9
bench 325x3,350x3,370x3,225x20
dips BW 3 sets 10 reps
reverse rows BW 3 sets

Felt tired after bench and just did a couple BW exercises.

Well…yeah.

uhm that is a bunch of bench…
I would be done too.

kmc

I was ready for bed at 5PM yesterday and dragged myself into the basement to workout. Was asleep by 9:30 last night.

12/11
squat 135xreps,225x5,315x3,405x3,425x3,450x3,495x1
squat w/belt and wraps 545x1,585x0
front squat 3 sets 225x5
leg curls 5 sets 110x6

545 went up easy. Think I psyched myself out of 585. Adding another plate scared me a little. Going to give maxing out a break for a bit. Deload/reps after next week.

Sandbagger!

Nice squatting, eco.

Something about heavy squats is intimidating. Bench and deads never give me that feeling.

I know the feeling. I had to get fed up with my squat last session before I would load more weight on… I have an irrational fear of failure in this area.

Heavy supports and walkouts can help with that…

12/14
military press 175x5,205x3,225x2+2 push press
3 board bench 365x4,315x6(board slipped had to stop)
max reps military alt front and back 135x17
push ups BWx20

Power went out Thursday night and came back on Sunday early AM. This was an amazing ice storm. Everything has a 1/2 inch glaze of ice on it. Some people may not have power for 1-2 weeks. I have 7 extra relatives staying at my house for awhile.

My sis and mom live in chichester and the power was retored yesterday at 4am. They were without power and water for days.Stay warm bro!!!That bench is looking strong and the board press will help alot.Keep after it.

12/16
dead 375x5,425x3,475x1,500x2(tried a 3rd rep but only came 1/2 way)
1 arm row 100 5x6
chin up 3 sets
curls 3 sets

Starting next week going to deload/rep out for a couple weeks. How can these guys squating 800 and benching 600 keep the joints healthy? My knees and middle back need a break.
