Damn…the pictures I’ve seen are incredible! That’s a hellofalot of ice, hope all is well.
Skipped last night. A dad of one of the hockey players on my sons team died yesterday and I just didn’t have it in me to workout. Dave and his son were over my place just last Sunday. Makes you step back re-evaluate your priorities.

Sorry to hear that Eco. Seems there is a lot of re-evaluation of priorities going on around here!

Very strong!!!Keep hammering away bro.Merry Christmas.
ecogenx, exactly how much stronger can you get. Well with the new year coming in I guess we’ll find out. The skies the limit and that’s a story worth sticking to.
I can’t see the future doing anything but what you want it to. If the best of 2008 is the worst of 2009 you will rule the year! I hope nothing but the very best for you and yours.
Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year.

bench 245x20
squat 315x10
1 arm db row 100x20
stiff deads 225x10
military 135x20 (alt front and back)
db curl 30sx20
lying db tri ext 30sx20
I was strong enough to do more reps with the legs but I am too out of shape. Just pitiful.
far from pitiful - looking strong eco. those are some sick numbers. merry xmas.
You as well wasB.
After a week or two of this higher rep stuff I’m starting a Mon and Fri bench/squat and Wed deadlift proram. Program lasts for 9 weeks(or less if I hate it). Ass. exercises are optional. I bought Eric Cressey’s book and want to use his mobility warmups pre-workout.
When I went to the high reps during my brief foray into a bodybuilding type routine I discovered the true meaning of DOMS. Great numbers your putting up. Hope you and yours have a great Cchristmas and New years.

A lot of dynamic BW stuff today.
mtn climbers(reg and wide), several variations of push ups, lunges, plyo jump, v-ups, jump pullups and several other exercises.
Really worked up a sweat.
Training’s looking great Eco!

Did some BW stuff yesterday but couldn’t wait to start my new workout.
A1 bench 325x3,3,3,3,3,8
A2 squat 440x6 sets 2 reps
B1 reverse lunge BW 3sets 20 reps
B2 bowflex triceps ext 3 sets 10 reps
Bench felt light so I repped out the last set. This will be a 9 week program.

What do you tell a guy who can probably bench you benching your max…ditto for Squats?
hmm…I will be back to showoff when I can bench 3xx for 1 rep.
Keep it up though!

A. deadlift 435 6sets 3reps
B1. 1 arm db row 120 3x8,6,6
B2.leg curl 100 3x5
c. jump pullup 3 sets
Saw the jump pullup on a site and gave it a try.
FF, I weigh 260lbs and do no aerobic work. You would be lifting just as much if not more at my weight. I need to work on flexibility and some aerobic conditioning.
Nice deads, eco.
Tweeked my back doing deads the other day. I can’t stand up straight. I look like a gorilla lumbering around. Going to need a few days to recover. I’ll start this program again this weekend or monday.
Tough break Eco. Take it easy and good luck!
chiropractor time, hope you get to feeling better
I think its time to work on some imbalances. Single leg stuff and flexibility. One of the girls in the office is also a massage therapist. She took a look at my back and said,‘that looks like it hurts.’ My low back is swollen and tight like I was trying to flex it. I have a call into the doc for some muscle relaxors. Chiropractors office closed at 12:30.
Anyone have any good ideas about working some mobility or muscle balancing into a program?
