Looks like your impatience was a good thing. That’s a big session.

A2. bench 245 8 sets 6 reps
B1. dead 320 8 sets 5 reps[/quote]

hahaha i didnt think you would wait. Good lifting Eco

Daaaamn…24 sets. Gonna keep an eye on this routine. Nice work Eco!

I like consistancy in my life. Same food, work routine, time I get up, etc. But I get bored so quickly with workouts. I’m always all over the place with them. Wendler last week, 3x3 this week and who knows what next week. Don’t know if its good or bad.

A1.squat 320 8 sets 5 reps
A2.bench 255 8 sets 6 reps
B. deadlift 320 8 sets 5 reps

Switched to medium width sumo deads with toes pointing straight ahead. Felt much better on my joints.

I can definitely relate. At least you’re keeping your muscles on their toes.

I was thinking we should all fly down to Jimmy Ts outdoor gym for our own powerlifting meet.

My legs are aching today. I almost need a spot getting out of my chair.

That’s a serious amount of work there. Not surprised you’re too sore to walk easily.

Strong as ever, eco.

Back to just very basic lifts for awhile. Just squat, bench and deads three days a week. During the week I may only do 5 sets each because 8 sets takes too long.

I attempted to lift last night but my legs were still sore. Going to lift tonight.

Over the summer I did two ‘heavy’ squat workouts a week (5 work sets) for three weeks. It was good in a limited dose, don’t know how long I could have kept it up.

Way to stay with it Eco…that’s awsome!

My back and knees need a break from squats and deads in the same workout for a bit. At least not 8 sets of each.

11/27
squat 330 4 sets 5 reps
Thats it. Back and kness were spent.

11/28
military 175x5,190x5,200x5+3 push press
3 board bench 135x5,225x5,315x3,365x2,365x2,315x5
1 arm overhead db press 50lbs 4x10
lateral raises 30lb 4x10
bent over row 185 4x10
db curl 4 sets

11/30
deadlift 375x5,400x5,425x6
Took it outside after deads.
I grabbed a rock around 30-40 lbs and swung it like a kettlebell(2 hands). But at the top part of the swing I threw the rock into the ground as hard as I could, trying to contract my abs. I quickly grabbed it again and repeated for 10 reps. I saw a boxer doing this motion with a medicine ball. I did chinups in between each set. After only 3 sets I thought I was going to be sick.

Ha ha. Rock bounce or no bounce, make splat?

The ground was frozen so it was more of a thud.

12/01
bench 310x5,325x5,350x5
dips BW+90lbs 6,6,8
1 arm db row 80lbs 15,15,15

Ooooo, rock thuds, might have to give that a go. Good stuff Eco!

And a new exercise has been spawned. The rock thud.
