Home Lifta

Hey homie! you really a fellow home lifta with all the weight you throw around? If so you have quite a collection going.

yep, 100% home grown. I gave up the gym several months ago. I began building my gym 9 years ago when my first son was born. I started with a bench and olymic weight set. Wish I’d have found this site then.

I was doing curls and bench. No legs. Would have been a great time to get into O-lifts. Since then I’ve gotten a small power rack, bow flex, squat machine, punching bag, bike, treadmill, a few dbs, a lot of regular weights and a couple more olympic sets.

Interesting. We may start a family in a year or two and I already figured it may cut into my gym time. So the race to build a decent home gym is on.

Watching the kids won’t be boring afterall.

I’m on my way there. Got the olympic set with 390#s, a regular set I use with 4 DB handles, Incline/decline bench that I double as a squat rack and an indoor bike trainer that I setup my mountain bike in for winter. Looking to get a small power rack as soon as my training room gets cleared of all the storage from our remodeling. I’d also like to get a punching bag. I love the home setup since it is a 45 minute drive to the company gym I sometimes use.

FF, a rack, bench, pullup bar and olympic weight set will do everything you need.

3/3
dead 440x3,465x3,495x4
stiff deadlift 275 5 sets 10 reps
weighted situps 3 sets 20 reps

I video taped the 495x4 deadlift. Now just have to figure out how to get it on here.

Your training is very strong.Nice work!

Only a couple oly sets? Piker.

What’s your take on the BowFlex? What do find yourself using the most?

Youtube it and post the link. It’s just plain easier. Faster.

I wanna see some butterball pulls.

You can laugh at me when I post mine. Squat Filming starts tomorrow. I need some form critique.

If my post doesn’t work, I’ll need a hammer…NO YOUTUBE…EVER! Sorry, I can’t get that stuff.
Still training huge I see. Looks very strong, and getting stronger.
Keep it up, Little Z.

I’ll try to get the video on here Friday night.

My wife surprised me with the bow flex a few years ago for my birthday. It takes the place of an entire db rack. I like it but think its to pricey. I would have never bought it. I use my bench, rack and pullup bar mostly.
The stiff deads killed me yesterday. My back is sore in a good way today.

I thought butterball was funny as hell.
Strongest pair of stilts I’ve ever seen. You didn’t look skinny on the videos.
