Is it difficult to get a video on here?? I have a digital video recorder. Is it done from my home page on this site?[/quote]
You can post it on youtube and put the link here. I tried to post my videos here and it wouldn’t because the file was too big. But what do I know, I’m an idiot when it comes to computers.
Thanks Jt and Ironman. I’m hoping that not drinking beer, eating junk every night and cutting out all the ice cream and junk during work hours helps get the fat off my gut but keeps the muscle.
Nice pullin’ Eco! I like the idea with the boards and the rope through the belt thingy… gonna try that when I manage to get more boards 'cuz some wing-nut took the ones I made at my gym.
That’s why I keep mine in a little cloth shopping bag with my wraps and stuff. they dont let us have gym bags on the floor, so we use shopping bags. I keep my 2-board in the car along with my “tool bag”. just put it in on dynamic bench day.
And I don’t know, Eco, the beer seems an awfully high price to pay just so your family can sleep…
ol
Eco, try rolling the bar down a little bit for your GMs. I like to get it set on my traps and rear delts so it doesn’t hurt the neck. Awsome benching big guy!
deadlift warm up, 500x4(read below)
rack pull from shins 405 5x5
side bends 60lb db 3x12 each side
weighted sit ups 3 sets
low back ext 3 sets
With the deads today I took 10 seconds between reps, re-set and pulled another rep doing 4 total reps. So I figure there was around 15 seconds between reps. I was spent after that. I tried to pull 500 again after a few minutes and it was a no go. So I moved on to rack pulls.
Thanks Bunny(aka Mr 585).I feel good today, only a little sore. I think my deadlifting technique is really coming along. I felt it more in my upper hams/glutes yesterday and not the low back(I pull sumo). I hope that’s a good sign. I will figure out this video thing out sooner or later so I can get some feed back.
Great work Eco. Your posts are very motivating.
I think my snoring is under control b/c my wife hasn’t given me a hard time in a long while. It even went as far as going through a sleep study, luckily no sleep apnea.
I got a body pillow and set myself up in a supported fetal position. I feel good when I wake up.
The Mrs, Nurse Ratchet she is, would leg press me out of bed when my snoring got bad.
Eco there a lot more technique involved in sumo than conventional. One of the reasons I’m switching over to conventional.I have no one to coach me on my technique since no one in my immediate area competes.
Danjo, I’ve found if I sleep on my back I snore loud enough to wake myself up. It’s only if I sleep on my side that I almost never snore. Of course I sleep by myself most of the time because of the hours I work.

Sorry for the lack of posting. My oldest son and I were away for a few days at a hockey tournament. But nothing really to post. Just around 80% max stuff for singles over the past week getting ready for this Sunday’s meet.
My weight is hovering around 270 lbs and is great for getting stronger but has gotten me worried about my long term health.
I will be starting a cross between the velocity and velocity lite diets the day after this Sunday’s meet. I want to combine this with a Wendler routine and some sandbad/sled drag outdoor stuff. My goal is to be more around 220-230 and still be pushing the same weights around.
