Holding Breath During Lift/Dizziness

This morning doing deadlifts I started feeling dizzy. I didn’t feel like I was going to pass out…just that spaced out feeling you can get from a little dizziness. This has happened before so I wanted to know if this happens to any of you and how you deal with it.

What I SUSPECT is the cause of the dizziness is this. I HOLD my breath during the lift. That sometimes includes holding the breath on both the eccentric and concentric portion of the lift. Do you think I should breath when I lock out? What else do you suggest?
