Does anyone have a problem holding ANACONDA down when working out? The last couple months my workouts have suffered when using ANACONDA to prevent myself from puking. Today I decided to go back to Surge Workout Fuel (the original formula) and I busted my ass like no other, the way I like to. I didn’t want to stop, I had my old drive back. It’s been so long I’d forgotten what it felt like.
I’ve been debating this for quite awhile now and I’m convinced my body responds better to Surge Workout Fuel (and it’s not even close). I get serious heartburn from ANACONDA.
I’m not saying it’s like this for everyone and I’m not taking anything away from the quality of ANACONDA. This is just how my body responds. I love drinking MAG-10 during and after my workouts, it’s something about ANACONDA that doesn’t sit well with me.
I have a full tub I’d be willing to trade for a tub of MAG-10 or Surge. I bought it 2.5 months ago so it’s too late for me to return it and I’m not going to get any use out of it.
Has anyone else had this problem? If you are I suggest you try Surge b/c no matter how hard I train Surge Workout Fuel is not coming back up, which is what I’m looking for.
I think some people had issues with the high levels of beta-alanine in the 'Conda. Possibly your situation as well?

Have you tried drinking less of it?

This or allow more time between consuming Anaconda and training.
Some people just don’t tolerate much in their stomach while training.

I’ll try this, thank you. I consume 2 scoops with as little water as possible 30 minutes prior to working out. This is where the heartburn comes into play using as little water possible. If I train the way I like to I’m blowing chunks no matter what.
It’s not like this when using Surge Workout Fuel. I can sweat my ass off and puking never crosses my mind. It really got me thinking about what the problem is with Anaconda b/c I know it’s an awesome product. However after today I’m going back to using the Surge products. It’s a better fit for me and I love drinking it. Kind of makes me upset I stopped using it the last few months.
Maybe consider using MORE water? dilute the beta alanine somewhat so it’s not such a huge influx of the stuff?

That’s kind of the problem. I use as little water as possible in the Anaconda mixture, then drink more straight water going into and during my workout. I read somewhere it takes the proper amount of fluid to achieve the best results. For me the comparison in my drive when using Anaconda doesn’t even compare to Surge. That’s what I can’t figure out.
I like the idea of taking protein going into my workout but when I do my workout suffers so much it cancels the benefits out. I think I’m going to stick with what works best for my body.
I thank the heavens Tim sent me some more Surge a couple months back that I’ve yet to break into. Now I need to get some more Surge Recovery

You probably just don’t tolerate protein and/or creatine during training.
Most trainees don’t have any issues with Anaconda during training, but there are a small percentage who do for one of these reasons.

I do not follow that protocol because I do not handle large volumes of fluid during training well at all. It makes me nauseated the whole way through.
You need to realize that your body is NOT like everyone else’s. You need to find what works FOR YOU. If too much fluid is limiting your workouts, then it should be clear what you need to do.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I take creatine with my Surge so all that’s left is the protein, which sucks b/c I know how beneficial it is. However if I can’t punish myself the way I like to there’s no benefit anyway.
I don’t know anyone to give it to who’ll appreciate it b/c to the people at my school protein is protein. They think all proteins are created equal so I don’t even bother trying to explain it to them.
It’s good to hear I’m not the only one dealing with this problem PX. We’re dealing with the exact same scenario.
Thanks everyone.

Anaconda works great post-workout, as well.
Take one serving after training and follow-up with your normal meal schedule 30 to 60 minutes later.
I think that if SWF works better than Anaconda for you, you should go with SWF.
Just a crazy idea. =0)

Good deal, when I run out of MAG-10 I’ll put it to use. My Anaconda tub is actually filled to the brim. I combined the 2 I had to save space so giving it away is probably not the best idea.
