Hip Flexor Cramps?

I’m just finishing the first phase of Waterbury’s High Frequency system.
The problem:
On certain days you begin with back squats, followed by split squats (in different supersets), and finished with DB Incline Bench. Now, once I get to the incline bench and bring one db followed by the other up to my knees, my hip flexor (I believe that it is the hip flexor) cramps up.

It has happened to both sides the previous two times I have came to this workout. Obviously with a cramp it is hard to focus (or even get the weights up). Any ideas on how to rectify this situation?

If you want to ratify it, put it to a vote. If you want to rectify it, try doing more hip flexor stretches before you work out. “Warrior pose” is a good one. Just stretch the full ROM.
