I agree with the multiple points made that this is nothing to fight over. I disagree with the multiple suggestions to make sure the other kid throws the first punch. I doesn’t apply in this case since that other kid is never going initiate anything. It sounds like he just thinks he knows something about nutrition. In general, in cases of serious intimidation and harassment, you should make sure you throw the first punch. So what if you get suspended it will be worth the guarantee that no one will ever mess with you again. To be clear, I’m talking about kids in the age range of about 12 to 16.
Throw the first punch in a situation where a douche is running his mouth about nonsense?

Why? Does OP really sound like he’s intimidated?
At least make some attempt to understand a post before responding.

Since when do fat kids get to bully people? Anyhow I would recommend not beating him up. It’ll lead to a lot of hassle possibly with the Police. If you break his nose or knock out a tooth, you can bet his parents will expect yours to pay and they in turn will make you pay for repairs.

Verbal humiliation is better. Harder to prove and people in high school have very fragile psyches. If girls are around all the better. Don’t seek him out but stand up for yourself at all times. Hitting people is for last resorts or in the ring.
It happens these days. My son had a similar experience with two dirt bag kind of kids. the good thing is that they were all on the wrestling team and got to wrestle each other. The two “bullies” got thrown around by him and it stopped.
Why it happened? I’m assuming becuase JR. is a very bright kid. they probably assumed smart = weak and not tough. They learned stupid = stupid.
Best thing for the OP is to just work on making himself better as others have said.

So basically just join the wrestling team along with the bully and fight him where it isn’t against the rules. Perfect!

hey guys i know i might get flamed for this but ill ask anyways. I am in high school currently and have to eat meals in class and such. Not really during class but like in the halls ill down a shake really quick and at lunch i eat a fuckload off food. so there this kid. Hes 140 pounds, fat as fuck, cant run a mile whose always making fun of me. Hes always calling me a fatass and making jokes about how much i eat. Granted im not ripped with a 6 pack or anything but im a great deal stronger then most in my grade and i dont have my gut sticking out of my shirt. I just getting sick of it. All my friends are telling me just to approach him and beat him till he cant get up.

Well i wanted your guys opinions. i know i can kill him but i dont want to get suspended from school or anything. What would you Do?

again sorry for the dumb question.
ignore him.

I know that at your age you probably feel like he’s clowning you and people are paying attention, but the only people that matter know he’s the clown. The more he continues, the stupider HE looks, not you. Ignoring him does not show fear, it shows grace and strength.

If however, he puts his hands on you and you are inclined to defend yourself, by all means defend yourself and be damned with the consequences. No one has a right to ASSAULT you and you have every right to defend yourself (legal and otherwise); everyone has a right to INSULT you so let the haters hate and look stupid.

Thats what I do lol, everytime someone has anything to say to me I tell them to show up to wrestling practice. We’ll welcome them with open arms, but I’m gonna beat the shit out of them. Usually stops most people right there.

Wrestlers, always looking for an excuse to roll around with boys…

Have not read all the replies, but in case no one has mentioned this: you need to chop his parents up, put them in a chili. Then challenge him to a chili cook off (make it a big event, like a chili festival), you will eat his chili and he will eat yours. But, BEWARE he will put his pubic hair in your chili, so you HAVE TO switch it with a non malicious chili. Then in front of everyone you inform him that he has eaten his parents. I view this as being the only logical way to handle this situation… Your welcome

Come to practice, you won’t.

If movies have taught me anything about youth culture it is that settling “beefs” is done with a dance-off.

Why even mention general application advice when you have a specific scenario to discuss? I responded that way because I thought you were making a relevant post. My mistake.

Forget him.

Dude, it’s fucking high school. NONE of that shit matters.

No, not even the stuff you think REALLY matters. That stuff especially doesn’t matter. Most of the cute girls in your class will be fat as hell in ten years. Most of the guys who think they are hot shit now will be Al Bundy in 15 years.

Ignore the fucker and work on getting better.

There is no greater revenge than running into those people years later after you have reached your life goals.

Let it be.

People fuck with you. That’s life. It only matters if you let it or you believe it.

I have no doubt that weight training and eating like a serious gainer would look strange today in a sea full of sedentary X-box players.

Get used to standing out.

What the hell do you think will happen if you actually build those 20" arms. Yeah, you will stand out more and people will talk more.

better train for it now.
Ditto

Haven’t posted in a while but this stirred me up

HS is a joke

The things that seem important now and the people that think they are special arenâ??t

10, 15, or 20 years from now just wait and see where the “cool” people wind up

If you’re already dedicated to the iron sports now you’re obviously a goal oriented individual and this will help you in other areas of life for the rest of your life

The hell with what other people think and focus on what’s important to you

You gotta stick up for your self but not let people get under your skin

If he lays a hand on you hurt em bad otherwise forget em and move on

Life is short and there will always be assholes don’t waste any more energy on them than you have to

No point in fighting him. he’ll get sympathy and you’ll look like a bully. Instead find out all the girls he likes and take them out.

Follow him around discreetly till you manage to catch him in McDonalds chomping on some burgers. Then get a t-shirt made; a collection of those pics but doctor them with PS so there’s like ketchup all over his shirt and face, with “HELL YEA MOTHERFUCKER” (obviously substitute Motherfucker with something more high school friendly) written across it like this one attached. Wear it ALL the time!

Or, do as the more stable folk around here suggest and ignore his ass. If you know he’s talking shit without the baws to back it up, chances are everyone else does as well. Just you worry about you and to hell with the haters. Turn this into an exercise of self-restraint and you will be teaching yourself a valuable lesson for the future.

Cars are safer. Period. Bike fatalities are somewhere among the order of 42x the rate of fatalities for the occupant of a car. THAT’S why people ask if you’re going to stop riding a bike.
Old post, sorry for bringing this up but the rate is just over 5x not 42x.

And along with that, the point still stands that cars aren’t safe so the judgment of car drivers as if bikers are insane is ridiculous. If more cars drove like they weren’t blind to anything on two wheels, I am sure that “5x” would decrease further.

Good ol BG is one for exaggeration.

You’re in high school. Which means you’re a minor. Which means beat his ass.

After your 18th birthday, don’t solve problems like this anymore.

FI I have to disagree about the under 18 thing. When was the last time you dealt with HS rules and regs?

My brother is still in high school.

If you pop this kid in the liver and drop his ass you’re not going to get more than a couple detentions or maybe a small suspension.

It’s a small price to pay to shut the kid up forever.
