This message may seem somewhat long, but please stay with me. I looked all over this site for the answer to my question, I did not find it, but I may have just over looked the answer I was looking for. I am a 21 year old strength training fanatic. I am an exercise major at the university I attend and have been involved in the iron game seriously for about two and half years now. So I feel I know how to train and eat properly. So here goes my question. I know you guys are pretty much anti-cardio. Which I am too, I would rather do some interval sprints and throw up than rub my ass raw on a bike for an hour(I have done both). Right now my training routines are to put on some size, but I would not mind dropping a little body fat as well. And my diet is very solid: chicken, oatmeal, cottage chees, brown rice, post workout shake, the whole nine yards. I have tighten my diet up for photos before as well. But right now it would be a pain in the ass to follow a strict diet, because of my schedule. Sometimes I have to slam a protein shake in between classes or a protein bar just to get all my meals in for the day. To achieve my goals I was thinking about adding a couple of days of high intensity cardio to drop this little bit of body fat, but I wanted to get you guys take on it. Do you think some sprinting or jump rope would help? Or you would suggest I try something like Poliquin’s GBC or the “Death Circuit”? Thank you very much for any feedback you give me.
P.S
I think this would be a very intesting topic for you guys to write about. It is hard enough just trying to get 6 or 7 solid meals in a day, but I still have goals I want to achieve.
Once again, thank you.
