Today I did the impossible, and got a full refund on a year-long contract that I paid upfront. Those douchebags patronized me, instead of accepting the more than generous deal I laid out ($50 refund after being there 2 months) that went completely according to their contract. They will be getting a nice message from my credit card company haha, and I will be building a home gym soon.
I’m not sure what to get yet - top considerations are Rogue/MDUSA half racks and a TDS rack that’s much cheaper. I basically need a rack that can move around the US with me over the next decade, deal with low noise and low height restriction, has pullup/dip options, and possibly a landmine attachment. I already have most everything else I need.

got really sick yesterday for the first time in years - it didn’t bother my bench workout because the #s were so low lol. Today I caffeinated myself up and had the strength, but all my erectors were killing me even at 135, so I stopped early.

AC is one of my absolute favorites. I beat 1, 2, brotherhood, and revelations 2 months ago. Make sure you get the best armor early in revelations. I am waiting for the price to drop on 3 so I can buy it. Black Flag looks awesome as well. 2 is my favorite.
Also, I too am looking to start building a home gym. I am tired of my big box gym’s attitude toward its customers.
Hitman looks fun, I played the first one I think for a bit. AC 3 so far sucks lol, the first 15% or so of the game is a drawn out series of training and cutscene pieces. I got it used for $17 at game stop though. I’m. Probably wait to get black flag.
build a home gym! I’m planning mine out now, and while the prices are adding up, it’s something that I’ll use forever and will pay for itself in a few years. Even if I move to an apt in a year, I’ll take the setup with me.

noo it’s going to take like a month, I got my quote sorted out on Thursday and they haven’t even processed my credit card yet. I think it’ll be here by the end of November lol. I’m getting a nice bar on Monday, and placed an order on Elitefts for some nice accessories. Since smolov benching is going to be dangerous without a proper bench, I’m going to just do the Coan/Philippi deadlift cycle and then just do bodybuilding type upper body work at home.
I’ll update later with what I got. I spent a lot more than anticipated, but I’ll have everything I want for life (minus a bench, still need to upgrade that) and will never get a gym membership as long as I’m in the US : ) total cost still under 1 graduate level course lol

@mightymouse do it! if you have patience, you can get 2 300 lb oly sets, some db handles, a power rack, and bench on craigslist for $200. From there you can go to BWTG or whomever and have whatever accessories you want for the rack custom made. Really it’ll pay for itself quickly. I still haven’t been charged for the fancy power rack so maybe it’s a sign I should get something cheaper lol
