Efffff I’ve pulled like 415 Sumo before, and hit 245x6 on Front Squats, but dammit I haven’t lifted ‘heavy’ (been doing BB’ing/pump style stuff mostly) in a long time. Will have to really work my ass off to get back up there.

but I think I felt decent because a) I didn’t overthink form b) I did reps and was careful not to miss lifts for once c) didn’t get too hyped
in conclusion, not eating, sleeping, or training well made me stronger. correlation = causation especially when n = 1

thinking about Smolov Jr for bench (4x a week, supersetted with assistance work always) + Coan/Philippi DL (1x/week) + 1 day for single leg work and leg work with machines. Sounds fun and I need to discipline myself with lifting before classes start back up in 2 weeks

smolov jr starts today. mistake made last time was not hitting the reps on the last day (10x3, had to do partials to get in all the reps) & then maxing out a couple days later. It made me a decent bencher quickly
