I followed the Anabolic Diet of Mario DiPasquales eight years ago. It did wonders for me then. I gained 15 pounds in 12 weeks.
I have been on it for a week again and my strength is up as a result. I am starting at the same weight as I did the last time I tried it.
Anyways I am also eight years older and the thought of eating all the saturated fat does not settle me. I was wondering if anyone has tried the same approach with whey, udos or other oil and of course some meat and eggs.
Whey & flax oil. Use canned salmon for lunches.
Grill steak & fish(halibut, salmon, catfish, swordfish) for dinner along with a small vegtable salad.
Stir fry shrimp in olive oil, garlic, & peppers.
The whole point of the Anabolic Diet is to use anabolic food sources - primarily red meat, cheese, eggs etc… The anabolic nature of such foods, which are naturally high in saturated fat, is much of the premise behind the diet. Saturated fat raises T-levels. It is good for you, in moderation (much like most things!).
