HGH Interest

Hey Guys

I don’t post very often on this site, and this is the first time posting on this section…

I’ve been thinking about trying some gear for about a month, and I’ve decided I want to try HGH before anything else. Is this a good idea? Or would it be better to try T or an anabolic?

Thanks. I’m looking for any and all input, plus suggestions.

Give some background information on yourself; a lot of the people on here expect it so they can give you a better opinion/advice on the subject…

give us some current stats and some goals and we can give you some help.

From your profile, it would seem that you should have very good T and HGH levels at this time. Most are going to suggest that you look at your diet and training for gains. HGH is something that most cannot afford. If you see HGH products on the net that claim to be cheap and legal, you are going to get ripped off.

HGH and T are synergistic and work very well combined… just so you know. Many have stated that HGH alone is a waste of money in terms of gains.

Do you understand PCT and HPTA? If not, read the beginners tread pinned at the top. Gear can be done wrong, not because the gains did not work out, but because your hormone status can be damaged and you can loose your interest in girls, get limpy dick and shrinking balls. It is absolutely something that can happen to you if you do not know what you are doing. Some on this BB might say the same things rather unpleasantly.

Thanks for all the replies. Sorry it took awhile to respond, I was in the middle of traveling.

I’m 5’9"/5’10", 160 lbs, unsure of bodyfat (but it’s not that high), been lifting for awhile (and seriously for about a year).

I split things up into different days for workouts, so the days are (I know you can’t completely isolate, but this is something I saw as an article not too long ago, and I like it):
Arms
Chest
Shoulders and Triceps
Back
Legs and Lower Back

As for weightlifting stats, I can’t really tell you 1RMs, because I lift by myself…I guess I don’t have the balls to see exactly how much weight I can do without killing myself?

I’m 19, if that matters, but I’ve always been a “hard gainer” and things that work for other people (“see-food diet” or “just fuckin lift” etc) don’t work for me. I’ve tried numerous things as far as programs go, but I’ve never jumped around, I always gave it time to see if it would work.

I use mostly compound movements (squats, bench, incline bench, decline bench, military press, row, bentover row, standing deadlift, cable punches, cable crossover) with a few “isolated” movements in there too (bicep curl, hammer curl, reverse hammer curl, leg press, leg curl, standing and seated calf, pulldowns, skull crusher).

If HGH is expensive, would T or an anabol be better options?

Thanks for the input.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to include goals.

Ideally, I’d like to be 185 with a low body fat percentage (number doesn’t really matter…but low enough to look huge and look defined, and we all know that the number changes by the person).

That’s looking down the road, because I have a long way to go, but that’s the ultimate goal.

Ey man, you are 19 your T levels should be through the roof naturally.

You are simply not eating enough & not training hard and often enough. Post your diet in detail, with calorie estimates.

I doubt that I’m not training hard or heavy enough…I train 6 days a week, and increase the stress every week, even if that only means doing a few more reps with the same weight, or adding something lame like 2.5 pounds to each side of the bar.

I haven’t had my T levels tested, but I just seem to not be getting anywhere, or at least as fast as I think I should be, which is why I brought this up.

As for eating, a typical day includes:
*3 or more eggs in the morning, with a protein shake, and some potatoes
*2 (sometimes 3) peanut butter and jelly sandwich spread throughout the day
*Muscle Milk and Oats [oatmeal with protein powder in it]
*some form of steak or other meat
*post-workout protein shake with creatine
*low fat yogurt
*alot of milk (with every meal, and in each shake)
*a 36g of protein “Oh Yeah!” protein bar (sometimes two a day)

…I’m sure there’s more food, but that’s all I can think of. I feel like I eat alot, and I’m definitely eating every 2-3 hours. I pay very close attention to that.

Progress is progress, even if you’re just adding 2.5lbs.

If I were you I’d start a food log and write down everything you eat, everything. There must be a reason you’re not growing and if you’re training well, then you must not be eating or sleeping enough.

That doesn’t look like a lot of food, try adding a few hundred calories every few weeks and see if you are gaining weight, you could be out-training your diet too.

All my cousins friends have jumped on the roid bandwagon as teenagers (except the ones I managed to talk out of it), and my he still makes better progress than they do at 19, naturally, because he eats like a horse.

I will say this, there is lots of reason why you should not at your age even consider taking steroids or GH.

I have commented on this before, and you can search my posts to find them.

The huge reason is that you are barely a man yet. You are not even fully grown.

To add to this I am willing to guarentee that you do not know how to train properly.

Doing steroids without learning how to train first, and learning your body, will give you initial gains, but will reduce your inevitable ability to put on size, and you may loose all your gains following cessation of your cycle.

I know lots of guys who have a few cycles under their belts, and after that never improve anymore, no matter how much they juice… and they always seem to be on!

People always wonder why I, year after year show up at the contest bigger and noticably improved from the year before, while others have stagnated.

The reason is that I put the time in naturally. I trained for years naturally, and learned how to train, and how to gain, and how to diet naturally.

Now when you can do those two things pretty well, and have developed an awesome physique - well balanced and well proportioned, then add AAS and other compounds into the picture and see what happens.

The problem is everyone wants everything this second, and are not willing to put in the time, energy, and effort to reap the real rewards.

There are no magic pills out there, believe me!

Take the money you would have spent on GH, and get yourself a trainer/ diet guru… - not one that you find at any pansy gym, no! you’ll find these guys at the bodybuilding competitions advertising their services. I suggest you enlist their expertise before you even consider taking drugs.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches???

you think that is going to make you grow muscle???

an Oh Yeah bar? sometimes two???!!!

ditch the protein bars and get some real meat.

and 3 eggs is a waste of your time.

bro you really need to get some help.

Look, if I wanted a bitch, I’d go to the fuckin District and get one. So stop whining through your goddamn nose at me, and quit being a typical Internet flame-throwin fuckin’ knowitall. Be useful.

Moving past that…

I understand that my diet isn’t ideal. There are two factors: I’m a college student at an expensive University, and I have an apartment.

These two things mean that not only do I have no money (at all times), I also don’t have alot of time.

As for diet consultation, I have a friend who is an ex-competitor (he’s in his late 30’s), and we talk all the time. I get what I can through the school cafeteria and the school equivalent of a grocery store, since all of that is paid for using dining points.

My diet consists of getting protein in every meal. If that means I’m eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, so be it. My diet targets as much protein as I can get, “good” carbs where possible, and low sugar. I don’t drink anything except water, milk, and some coffee. No sodas, no juices.

So, yeah, my diet isn’t ideal. But it’s a hell of alot better than most people who come looking for help, especially on T-Nation. They come in at 250 lbs of solid fat, saying “my diet is good, I only drink a 6 pack of beer a night, and eat things like pizza and mangina for protein”.

Give me a break, and give me some useful information.

As a summary, look at my previous posts, but if you want to critique my diet, don’t whine about how it “sucks”, but give me some suggestions that actually apply to the poor college student situation.

Thanks.

You have probably blown any chance of getting help from people on here; prisoner 22 is a well respected, knowledgeable individual. You said your diet is low sugar; well what the fuck do you call peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? You probably eat those on white bread too… Seriously though, if you are nineteen and you want to juice up and use growth hormone, go do it.

Don’t say we didn’t try to stop you when you come back six months from now and have lost all the muscle you gained whilst on cycle as well as some of the muscle you had built naturally. Your an idiot. Go smoke weed or something if you really want to use drugs… (I know, great advice…)

About your diet I believe it would be better if you focused on taking in more whole foods and maybe cut out a protein shake or two so you can afford more food. I also look through your diet and see no fruits and veggies. It is probably hard for us to comprehend how much fruits and veggies do for us, even raising our hormone levels.

Perhaps you should re-arrange your training also. Ease up on the BP splits a bit. Try and upper-lower split so you can stimulate muscles directly twice per week. Also forget the leg curls and do roman deads or good-mornings. Hit up some weighted pull-ups instead of one those curl variations.

Learn to do Clean & Jerk and make sure you have squats and deads in your workout somewhere. In addition to bench press, do push presses or push jerks. Try to stimulate as much muscle as possible with each lift twice per week instead of once and having part of that be iso stuff.

I’d try to circumvent the HGH and Test man, that stuff could do some damage if you’re not real real real up on how to dose it.

As many will attest, I have been more than helpfull to people on here, and the advice I gave you, although you may not have liked it, was golden.

nobody owes you any information at all, and the fact that you have display an inherrent laziness to do any research yourself warrents fully the responces you have recieved. I will elaborate more:

Your diet sucks. You arn’t building any muscle. What makes you think you will gain anything with steroids other then some water retention? Keep this analogy in mind: It doesn’t matter how many workers you employ, if you do not have any brick to build the walls with, your building will not go up.

Same with AAS. If you lack the excess protein to build muscle with, it doesn’t matter how much AAS or GH you do, your gains will be minimal.

Save your money and buy food instead of AAS.

I can’t understand why so many of you boys on here are trying the shortcut method to be men before your time.

You want the cheap fix, and are not prepared to put any work into it, and your uneducated, unresearched questions you posted up speaks volumes.

Read up. AAS is definitely NOT recommended by anyone at your age. And never mind that. Who’s to say that all your epiphyseal plates have closed yet, and you want to mess around with HGH??? You don’t even know it’s mechanism of action or it’s side effects, yet you are wondering how much it costs. This comming from someone who eats peanutbutter and jelly and thinks it is in someway helpfull.

Well, hear are some low cost lean protein alternatives:

Cottage cheese dry curd.
Egg whites
Tuna
a big box of frozen chicken breasts (bulk)
eye of round steak
lean ground beef (drain the extra fat)

There are lots of cheap sources of lean protein out there… and you thought that peanut butter was a viable protein source for a bodybuilder?

I am sorry if I come across coarse, however I want you to know that someone such as yourself post the same post about every three weeks on here. My frustration is that none of you underaged bodybuilders every read each other’s posts, because if you did, you wouldn’t be asking such repetitive questions.

If you can’t afford food then what the fuck are you gonna eat after you spend all your money on Test and GH?
