Peter: First real flight! Pretty funny when he lands and burns up his feet a bit.
Nathan: Uses the artists power better than the artist can, however he does lack a lot of the artistic talent, though his drawings get the point across.
You have the brothers confused. Nathan is the flying congressman, Peter is the nurse mimic.
oops! I thought I had it switched the wrong way last week! ha

I think he’s trying to accomplish the same goal, just in a different, more sinister way.

I agree. I think the way he protected Claire (cheerleader) shows that he’s not completely bad, but he might be one of thos ends justifies the means types.
Is it just me or does each episode seem to get better.
This show is frekaing addictive. Discovered NBC shows it Monday at 8 and Sci-Fi shows it Fridays at 7, so if our recording somehow gets hosed on Monday, we can record it friday. Love that!
-Nicki - This episode shows a lot more of her and what I previously had suspected that she killed DL’s crew but I didn’t know about the money until this episode. That woman is freaking crazy!
-DL - Was it cool or what when he phased through her at the end and was choking her?? at first it seemed like he was grabbing her heart and then choked her out
-Micah - any clue on what his power is? they keep saying he has a power…other than being some sort or prodigy?
-Hiro and friend - Great scene in the beginning and the end where they were talking about what it takes to be a hero.
-Cheerleaders dad - ok so he faked that girls adoptive parents coming to the house…that is pretty slimey! Also the girl that lives across the hall from Mohinder is working for him, I totally didn’t see that one coming at all. I’m still unsure of his agenda, he doesn’t seem as sinister as I thought previously but he is still not a “good” guy.

I could not believe that little tramp (Eden)! Maybe should’ve seen it coming since they hadn’t given her much story, but I was totally caught off-guard too.
I don’t believe Niki’s dead though. It looked like DL squeezed her heart out, but they’ve just given her too much screen-time.
And the cheerleader, Claire. Did she really have a cough as a baby? Can she get sick, just not injured? Did it have something to do with giving her an ability? Or was it just an excuse for the dad to try and find the birth parents? Just some questions to throw out there.
When it waas revealed that her parents were bogus setups, the cough story may have been just a ploy for her to see that they “cared” about her and she wasn’t given up for no reason. I think that the past will reveal itself even more about Claire, maybe the father removed her from birth and her parents are dead. Something about the adoption may surface.
What about the call that the father received “Save the cheerleader…” he was startled by this.
What the hell is Mohinder’s power other than being the narrator, shit give us more, he’s starting to bore me.

only starting?
I know that some characters need more “fill in” and I was waiting for the hammer to drop, only being disappointed again. Maybe he’s the “recorder” for the events…

Or perhaps she was just clearing something out of her lungs – something that would have killed another child. Or perhaps the abilities manifest later in life, such as during adolecense, when hormonal shifts trigger them.

That’s a cool idea, however since they are not her parents though, what would be the point of them telling her this? I mean doesn’t her adoptive father know she has these powers or does he simply suspect that she has powers since she tries not to let her Apdoptive parents see her use them?

I thought it was her adoptive mother that told her about the cough?
Is anyone else beginning to doubt Sylar’s sinister nature?
I’m assuming the DNA strand symbol is associated with him (It is a stylized “S”), but it seems that everyone who has the symbol (except for maybe Nikki’s “Walking Bloodbath” persona) is good or is misrepresented as being evil.

It was. And her father saw the video of her attempted suicides. He knows.
Regarding the DNA-like symbol: I believe it first appeared in a painting by addict, then was shown matrix style, followed by a glimpse in the swimming pool of the house where cop found the little girl. The next episode it was on cheerleaders textbook.
Forgive me if this is as redundant as most of the characters (ha ha).
Along with the necklace and tat, are there any other sightings?

That would also explain his dramatic change of heart; from wanting to comlete his fathers research to completely dismissing it (AFTER he found Syler’s secret cache).

Yeah, his character’s writing has taken a seemingly unprovoked turn from determined and hopeful to cynical and annoying.
He went from being my favorite character in the first couple of episodes to probably my least favorite at this point.

I was thinking it was something along those lines. That the powers get triggered somehow, though I’m not sure if it has to do with just puberty because it seems to me that everyone got their powers all around the same time? The artists has been drawing the future for a few months I think and he is definitely in his late 20’s early 30’s in the show.

I think you’re correct. Sounds right anyway when I think back. Thanks for the others for pointing out the references to the DNA symbol I started noticing them popping up more often as well.
Eventually do you think the poilitician will use the skills of the ex-hubby with shadow cat abilitites to get the tape back? I’m terrible with names in this series, sorry.
