Anyone else been reading Hiro’s Blog on the website? Pretty funny stuff.

that is awesome, the sad thing is I understood about 90% of the game/anime references he made.

Me too (unfortunately)

gil, mana…XP!
Been playing Final Fantasy since FF1 on the old NES. Got every bit of what he was talkin’ bout.

It occured to me but you also see the black guy along with the guy with glasses (cheerleader dad) in a preview of the upcoming episodes. hmm…I think he may be someone that works for the agency. It seems as if they caught the cop and took him to some lab, so if that black guy was sylar, why just kill someone and leave the body(brainless) than capture them for study like they did with the cop.
Having beaten up on the writers plenty, I think I can adress this ‘concern’. I can quite easily imagine how kidnapping a cop, in the present time, would restrict your ability to detain and experiment on people in the future.

Also, If I had a foe who could read everyone’s thoughts but mine and a foe who could predict the future, I know which one I would kill. As well, some people are important enough to capture alive and experiment on and some people are important enough to kill and experiment on.

I’m still wondering why the hell they would even autopsy someone who clearly died of a freaking stick in her head.
My theory is that she was taken by the people her step-dad works for and they were experimenting. Trying to see how strong her abilities really are.

But theories are like @$$holes, everybody has one and nobody else wants to hear it.

Don’t all suburban blond teenage cheerleader girls automatically get autopsies no matter how they die?

Yea, he was great. Definitely the funniest character.

OK, but lets talk about the most important character: the hottest character. That girl who face planted off the old fashioned water tower (??) was HOTT.

She has that bloated/pudgy face “ive never worked out” look. None of the girls look like that in track, except a few throwers that dont run-and some of them even look better than the pudgy girls because they (at least) lift. All in all, pudgies are pretty but average at the same time.

Meow, put away the claws.
I have a good pair though! You have to admit. It just is annoying, she probly has never worked out in her life. No, she Hasnt worked out in her life.

I think the black guy is sylar. The cop couldn’t seem to hear his thoughts. When he stared at him, all the mumbling stopped and it went completely silent.

You know what bothers me? Some nasty southern hillbilly quaterback/would-be rapist would NEVER use the word ‘effigy’. Nor would he bother being thoughtful and putting firecrackers in the effigy’s head. Or maybe making him a rapist was just a really lazy way to get to the autopsy cliffhanger.

Well, at least I enjoyed the line “nice effigy” until that point; it was very Smallville of them except for the whole gratuitous attempted rape thing.

I ramble.

did anyone get the “dont give your heart to just anyone” sign

I didnt understand that

so…is nurse boy’s power to mimic the power of the other heroes??
just curious

Yeah, little things like that keeping popping up.

I thought the quarterback was a pretty dumb character, but the scenes with Hiro by far make up for anything else.

Hiro = badass samaurai?

yeah, looks like it is proximity based. Not sure if its a “closer = stronger” thing or has a set radius for him to be able to copy another’s powers though.

And I am curious to see if by duping someone’s powers he becomes immune of sorts, kinda like how the future Hiro’s time freeze never affected him. Could mean he is a big deal in defeating Sylar and co.

Looks like in the future assuming the nuke goes off the heroes become fighters of some sort. Think every post-apocalyptic comic/anime ever.

Did not get that heart reference at all, don’t even remember it to be honest.

Now, what is with that tattoo on the back of Niki’s darker alter ego? It seems similar to the pendant the black guy has. And does her normal self has it? Also, I am gonna assume they grabbed Nathan Petrelli, based off of the previews for next week, why’d they leave Niki?

The painting sequence where Isaac’s eyes went all white was sweet. Save the cheerleader huh? Saw that one coming a mile away. And that’s all I have for now.

Just gonna toss a wild idea out there:

Maybe Nikki isn’t even a ‘mutant.’ Maybe she’s just a schizo chick who knows crazy kung fu when the multiple personality kicks in. Her son is obviously way smarter than he has any right to be, perhaps he’s the one with special powers.

Thought it was worth a mention, considering she has displayed zero abilities outside what’s capable of a normal psycho human being.

I haven’t watched it. I tried watching part of it online but the picture was fucked even though the sound was decent. I gave up trying to get into the story when it was like watching still photos with dialogue…and I have a cable modem.
X,

If you don’t know already, you can get the episodes online in divx format.

Thats deffinitely a possibility. I actually think its rather likely that her son has powers, and maybe it is the son who can control the mother when the psycho kicks in? Probably not, but it does make things a bit more interesting.

As I and a couple of other people have touched on before, I believe she may be one of the “bad guys”. My stance on the matter has changed slightly, however. While at first I thought she might become one of the “bad guys”, I’m now starting to believe she already is and has been one of the bad guys for quite some time and her “good side” just doesn’t know it. If 'twere the case, they (Cheerleader’s father and Co.) probably already know everything they need to know about her…

Also, does anyone else think it’s possible that the black guy is D.L., aka Linderman, aka Nikki’s husband, aka Micah’s father? He obviously is becoming more and more important to the story with each episode, apparent from all of the stuff going on in Vegas with Petrelli and Niki, yet we haven’t even seen him yet (we just keep seeing his “associates”)…or have we?

EDIT: After going back and watching the third episode again (ah, the joys of DVR) I realize that there’s no way D.L. and Linderman are the same person. D.L. robbed Linderman. I still think, however, that Micah’s father has a bigger role in this whole story than we think so far…

Great episode this week!

Things of note that I can recall:
-Nicki - I think she has some sort of super strength when in her “psycho” mode, as she mentioned here one of the guys in her garage was ripped in half, and in this one she told that guy she would put her heel through that guys skull. The tattoo on her back? Isn’t it similiar to the necklace around the guys neck that is with the cheerleaders dad?

-Hiro - Funny stuff, his friend is just an idiot! Why would you cheat at poker like that??? That made almost no sense to me, switching the cards from someone elses hands?? Come on! Of course Hiro from the future looked like a fucking badass and I don’t think it’s because Nathan is immune any power it was because Hiro targeted him to be free from the power, obviously Hiro’s power mature a lot from whatever time period he is coming from.

-Mohinder - Someone smack this guy and tell him to stop being such a crybaby…“oh no me and dad had issues…waaaa…”

-Peter - What a fucking tool!!!

-Issac - Cool to see his power “at work” rather than his already done paintings.

Agreed.

Umm… yes.

I’m 99% sold on this, I’m willing to bet that her estranged husband definitely has some things to tell her about her ‘reflection’.
