HEROES The Series! (*Spoilers*)

Just wondering. If Ando is basically a power enhancer now, what would happen if he enhanced Claire’s powers, Nathan’s, Sylar’s, or Peter’s?

Would Claire just heal superfast, would Nathan fly faster or something, would Sylar have an increased bloodthrist, and would Peter just simply absorb powers from people that weren’t even near him?

We still have not seen any real badass battles between people and their powers so I hope something crazy goes down in Season 4. Like Peter trying to protect Claire or somebody and has to blow up some tanks.

That episode kind of pissed me off.

I liked how Sylar was becoming and then they changed him again. I doubt he died in the fire though.

WTF is up with Nathan? So he didn’tget the powers thing going so now he’s going to have them rounded up. When these other people get captured how will they not rat him out? ARGH!

Peter can also heal now as Nathan received a shot from Claire to heal Nathan before as Nathan also has the ability to heal. If Peter gets close to Ando he won’t need him near him anymore as he will have his power. Mohinder thought the new bash of injections would heal him, restore him to what he was before or balance out his power. Perhaps it “cured” Peter to be the absorbing man again.

Sylar, not dead he’ll probably be brought out in a body bag and once the glass is removed, he’ll heal up and probably in a holding tank area set up by Nathan. Nathan would be smart to have body counts instead of assumptions.

I don’t mind the X-men reference I mean it seems like a logical step that would happen eventually.

No … not persecution … exponential multiplication … if the “events” unfolded without interference then everyone in the future would have powers because of the formula and Ando would kill Hiro and yada yada yada

Remember the flash-forwards’ with Nathan as pres. and Parkman as head of security or watever. That’s what I’m talking about. Maybe I confused the order of events. Whatever doesn’t really matter

That’s considered the ‘explosion future’ where Nathan was really Sylar in disguise (using Candace’s power).
Right right

this is a show that you need to takes notes during. that sort of annoys me.

I thought this season was plain bad. Nathan out of nothing being a bad guy, Sylar becoming the bad guy again, Arthur Petrelli being killed out of the blue, Hiro becoming a 10 year old aged guy and then normal all of a sudden. There’s no cohesive story, just bits and pieces…

O, one thing that really annoyed was how Sylar found out he was being lied to: by taking the powers of someone who recognise lies (and also a person who never was in the show before that). That’s just too easy…

I don’t mind the lie detector power, but with Sylar’s hunger and Elle’s cell phone, why didn’t he go after more people with powers? I guess the idea was that he wanted revenge on the others. Whatever.

All I know is he better not be dead. Sylar is probably the best character on the show.

1.) It’s a good thing Angela sacrificed that girl to Sylar early in the season. He sure used that “touch objects and learn their history” ability a lot.

2.) If Ando’s power is amplification of other powers, how the fuck did he kill Hiro in the alternate future? Did Ando turn it up… TO ELEVEN?

3.) Sylar + cheesy Saw scene. Cue Jigsaw voice: “I want to play a game.”

4.) It made zero sense for Nathan to fire Ice-chick (who was so interesting I can’t remember her name).

5.) Since when can the Haitian selectively target his ability?

6.) Why did Sylar need to kill Elle? He already had her power. They’ve said the “hunger” (so gay) is for abilities, not a compulsion to murder.

I’ve got more, but that’s a good start.

-If Sylar really wasn’t really Arthur’s kid, how could he teach him to take powers through empathy? Why would Sylar’s “figure out how things work” ability even encompass that possibility?

-I’m not a master of physics, but I’m pretty sure running at the speed of light would theoretically slow time down for the runner, but wouldn’t cause it to go backwards. How did they rescue Hiro again? Maybe they just should’ve made Ando a time traveler as well.

-Good thing we found out fire-guy is related to Claire’s mom. That plot thread really went somewhere.

Super geeky physics question here:

Shouldn’t Ando’s power have made Daphne go into the future rather than the past?
Just speculation here, but I think Daphne’s power is like a bastardized time travel. I think with Ando around, Hiro could possibly bring time itself to a standstill.

If that glass was left there (and I think Angela removed it), then the power would remain “switched off”. One would assume that enough damage would bring the body to a stage where it couldn’t repair.

Nathan can’t heal.

    • Perhaps further manipulation of his power? Parkman could probably become like the Haitian will further development.
    • Since forever.

This is my theory too. They left her alone when they went back to the cell to check on Claire’s bio-Mom. Probably just enough time to pull the glass out.

I haven’t watched this show yet.

Great show tonight…did peter actually have to touch the person to absorb their power before though? I had always just thought he absorbed it by being in proximity

Sylar is gonna prove difficult to take down and Peter’s back to good health finally.

I’m pretty sure Peter never had to touch before, just being in proximity.

Sylar keeps me coming back to this show. I love when they let him run loose.

Overall a decent episode. It was kinda slow, but it was a necessary lead in to the new chapter. I think storyline has some potential.

I also laughed when the random, unmasked guy with abilities was sucked out of the plane. It reminded of all the low ranking, no-named members of the Enterprise that died throughout the years.

Speaking of Sylar and the Enterprise, I’m a little geeked for the new Star Trek.

I agree with that’s been said so far. The episode was a little slow, but it got going in the second half.

I guess when Peter got his power back, the decided to mutate it slightly. I like the idea that he has to touch them before he can use their power better than when he used to just be in proximity to them. I guess we also now know that he did lose all his original powers.

Most importantly, I’m glad to see Sylar is back. I’m really looking forward to Star Trek, as well.

Decent episode, but sometimes I think Peter’s brain runs a little slow. Every time one of his family members wants a hug, something bad happens. His mom hugs people when she wants to convince them to do something unpleasant. His dad stole his powers with a hug. Now Nathan, who said he would let Peter die last season, wants a hug. You’d think he’d learn to keep his distance by now. Also, why was Peter holding on for dear life when the plane was going down? He can fly!
