Don’t worry, the cheerleader’s going to come back and he’s going to have her healing powers, and he’ll be fine!
Damn commercials!!!

i really liked tonights episode. i thought it was a little tacky with all the emotional mumbo jumbo but once they got to the homecoming it was awesome! i knew that Peter was going to get up b/c of Claires powers tho. Seems that Elise girl or whatever (the chic that was all up on Mohinder) has some sort of control power or something… i cant figure that one out…

Yea, last week it seemed that she would be able to convince the drug addict/painter to take the heroin again just by her telling him to.
It was cool to see her power work so easily against Sylar.
(sorry, I’m bad with remembering their names)
Fantastic episode tonight. Pretty cool that Peter survived a fight with Sylar and that Sylar was finally caught.
I’m beginning to think that the nuclear blast in NY isn’t due to terrorism. I think that radiation guy will totally lose it and decide to blow himself up. You could see what he almost did with a glass of water; he could probably set off a thermonuclear blast with any sort of material if he’s unhinged enough. Maybe Claire’s healing abilities are the only way they can get close enough to stop him when he starts putting out that much radiation. I can’t wait until next week’s episode.

Good call! I didn’t think of that at all. Kind of like Wolverine being the only one who could stop the Phoenix in X-Men.
Episode 9
Great episode though I’m still no closer to how saving her saved the world. I find it kind of cool that they are finally meeting up and doing things!
So that chick Elise (I think) has some sort of mind control/influence power? Sylar was taken down very easily by someone else with powers. I wonder if he is going to be mindwiped? I believe drastic actions would be a better course of action but I guess we’ll see?
Claire finding Peter at the end isn’t what gave him the healing powers, he had already been in a close physical contact a few times already and if you recall it doesn’t wear off right away it seems like the power could still be active after a day and a half. Recall the first episode where he was around Issac earlier and saw the painting…jumped off the building and was in the hospital sketching the future without knowing it.
I would hate to think this has something to do with radioactive guy…way too obvious…I’m hoping it has somethign to do with Sylar still…heh.
Somebody needs to punch Mohinder in the throat.
“You already have your answer.” and he has to ask what it is? How about the fact that a kid shows up in your dream, you find him in real life, and he converses with you about your dream as if he were there? Good thing he ‘hacked’ into his father’s data, he might not have been able to convince himself that these heroes really exist. Moron.

That was my favorite scene. Not so much for seeing her use her power to neutralize Sylar, but to see her and the “Euro guy” actually working together as a team. Of all the plot points so far, seeing what those guys are up to is the most interesting to me.
I would guess that as Peter learns more about his power and gains more control over it, he might be able to ‘borrow’ another’s power for longer and longer periods of time.
Next week looks really interesting. I say that every week though. ![]()

haha yeah
at first i was practically screaming at the TV at Nathan…but I guess he just didn’t want his little brother to die…maybe.
This is for anyone who has missed an episode or maybe wants to start watching it (I’m hoping this wasn’t posted before)
You can find all of the episodes for Heroes and a couple other shows.
Just a little food for thought, the explosion could be Peter too, if he comes in contact with the Nuclear Man.

yeah the more i see the show, the more i’m beginning to not like nathan. i can see him becoming an enemy of the rest of the “heroes”. he seems to be the only one to not embrace his power. except for crazy bitch nikki/jessica.

That’s convenient, but a show like this demands better quality. It’s pretty easy to get episodes in high definition using bittorrent. That’s usually what I do, since I don’t have a DVR or anything, and I have practice Monday nights. They release episodes very quickly.
This show is damn good. Between Heroes and House I just want to skip all my classes so the time between episodes goes faster.
Episode 10 - 6 Months Ago
While on one hand I thought it was kind of good that Hiro was unable to change the past by saving her life because that would have just been too cliche on the other hand…that sucks for him! I’m sure up to this point in his life he’s never had a woman in love with him and bam…ripped away! So going on this theme…if he is unable to change the past with his powers then how is he allowed to go into the past from the future and tell Peter to “save the cheerleader?”
Nikki and Jessica were twin sisters? I’m assuming and she was killed while her dad was drunk? This part was kind of…eh I don’t like Nikki for the most part anyway.
I thought it was pretty crazy how the real reason as to why his wife is paralyzed from the waist down…of course Nathan wouldn’t tell anyone about the flying thing, not even his own brother!
Sylar…hm…so his original power was to see what is broken in things/people? Then to be more special he thought maybe he could eat brains and gain powers. Do you think this is only for Sylar or could anyone with powers do this?
Kind of sucks that next episode will be the last until february!! BOOOO!!!

I don’t think that he eats brains, I think he kinda opens them up and see what is firing to make their powers work, them replicates that in his brain.
You gotta admit: if you could acquire telekinesis, flight, strength, regeneration, persuasion, mind-reading, etc by killing a few people, it would be DAMN tempting.
There are plenty of people in the world who kill over money but all those powers would be worth more than all the money in the world.

Ah, I always assumed he ingested them just because his victims were always missing their brains. Hm…interesting idea.

well, he has to take the brain apart to figure out how it works, right? That’s kinda how I figured it after seeing last night’s episode.
It kinda goes with the whole opening up watches thing.

The dad apparently killed Jessica, and then the split personality kind of formed. That’s why Nikki doesn’t have any memory of her dad beating her- she became Jessica in some way.
Pretty cool episode in seeing how things came together. I wish they would do something with that bald black guy other than have him be all mysterious and standing in the corner.
I thought it was kind of dumb how easily they brought Sylar down, I thought he was going to turn into some sort of bigtime super-villian, but it looks like they have bigger fish to fry- maybe the human torch guy will make a comeback?
I thought it was a split personality thing. Jessica was getting abused and couldn’t cope with it, so her brain created an alternate personality named Nikki and that is the personality that is agressive.

Nikki is the non-aggressive one. And it does appear that the dad killed Jessica, remember the seen where Nikki and DL are at the cemetery?
