I know this has been discuessed many times on this site. However, I still want to ask, what is the best way to inprove my run time for a army pt test (run time can be from 15:30-16:00, push up and sit-ups are no problem). I am trying to have a run time of at least 15:00 even. I am 38 yrs and just returning to the national guard as a sgt. So my problem is being to able to lead my guys or at least keep up with them.
My strength is ok for me but, like everyone else I want to be as strong as I can be. As far as time to train, it is usually three to four times a week. The reason is I am detective in a major city and my schedule is sometimes all over the place. I am interested in other peoples ideas. Thanks.
