Help with my Squat Form

Hello,

I am looking for some help on correcting my squat technique. i feel im leaning too far forward out of the hole and im struggling to increase my numbers.

any tips, or advice would be much appreciated. i am currently running 5/3/1 BBB alternating days. so i get squats done twice a week.

Low bar or high bar?

Low bar your form looks fine to me as far as torso angle, high bar you’ll probably want to stay more upright. If you are high bar, you’ll probably just need to stretch out your ankles, get some oly-lifting shoes, or both. It’ll let your knees track forward more so your body can stay more upright.

Its a bit of a hybrid squat. But its certainly closer to high bar.
i was considering making the switch to low bar, as the forward lean is really holding me back from getting any bigger numbers, i need a queue to push through my heels but i fear falling back too much

When you switch to low bar, the feeling is natural on your heals. It is unnatural on your back, but you get used to it, just grind through about a month of being uncomfortable, then it falls in place.

I found that when I was stuck, I widened my stance, stuck my toes out more to the sides, and the weight flew up.

Just an update, i played around with 40% training max today just for feel / movement and with a wider stance (just a tiny bit over shoulder width) i can still hit depth and i can push through my heels. thanks for the tip on the wider stance!
