some time ago, i read an article and saved in my browser favourites, but i had some problems with my computer, and the post got lost when i had to reset my OS. now i’m looking for it for a few hours, but i can’t find it anywhere. what i know for sure it’s that i did read it on T Nation. i will tell some things about it, so you guys can help me in this journey.
it is an article in which the coach explains, while using his life as example, why he couldn’t gain weight after a certain point in his training, only the composition of his muscles “moved” from one place to another depending on what he exercised more. he says that a certain training increases the size of your legs muscles and your upper ones if your max weight is around 220 pounds (i’m not sure of the exact number).
he even mentions in this article the “starting strength” by mark rippetoe, but brings other methods to guide and explain what happens to your body when you work hard but can’t gain weight.
