Help Me Get a Six Pack

A little Background info: I am 17 years old. I am currently 5’10 and weigh 130-135 pounds. According to my schools body fat “calculator” (hand held, which you input weight and height) i have less then 5%. (dont really know how accurate this is).

As of now I can see 4 of my abs, and clearly see them when I flex.

I am just looking for some guidance on workouts which will clearly define my abs (aka sixpack). I am not sure on which route to take (whether it be toning or building). Any suggestions/workouts would be greatly appreciated.

curls. lots of curls.
and stop eating so much, fatty.

There is an alternate route to take besides “toning” and “building.”

Consider the best route in your case: euthanasia.

Quick, my friend. Run! Run away!

You’re about to get flamed.

Before you do here’s an answer to your question:

Start eating lots of ‘clean’ food because unless you’re Bruce Lee at that weight you can’t have a lot of muscle. Search this site for nutrition articles.

More muscle = more visible abs.

Start performing Deads, Squats and Bench and work on becoming stronger in these movements.

Such compound movements will require you to stablise your ‘core’ (esp. SQUATS) and this will give you large, defined abs.

FYI: The word ‘toning’ is banned on this site.

What.
The.
Fuck?

Lower abs are a bitch.

In other news:

You won’t impress anyone with your six pack if you’re as underweight as you are.

Exactly what I was thinking.

guys i get it, im skinny as shit. but im working on it.

and for spry, its a damn joke. just because im not "jacked " doesnt mean im a retard.

everyone has to start somewhere

Alrighty, then.

My advice was not said in jest.

Heavy compound movements + Lots of nutritous food = Abs.

thank you

Go read the Nutrition for Newbies articles.

bad idea from the start. ouch.

oh and now constructive, ur obviously very skinny with little to no muscle…therefore…there can be no muscle definition without muscle. abs can have mass built on them just like any other muscle…get bigger…then worry bout ur lower two abs. Why do small kids think that you can look defined with just bone?

fuck. they don’t even know when they’re being flamed anymore.

alright.

an extra bit of important advice (seriously this time).

when you’re doing curls, make sure they’re done in the squat rack. That will really bring out those bottom 02 abs.

You are a wanker.

But on another serious note you forgot to mention that he needs to swing his whole body each rep so he can load the bar real heavy.
