Spend a few hours/days, whatever time it takes, to read through the pages recommended.
I think most, if not all, of your questions will be answered.
Good luck.

Stats? And weights is a must, and probably will be for the rest of your life. Might as well start now.

Good post. It will certainly help you get on gear nutritionally. If you don’t have access to weights, you should still be doing some bodyweight work. There’s a lot of good stuff out there. I don’t know any personally because I’ve always used the gym. But Christian Thibaudeau is supposed to have an excellent article on bodyweight exercises. Go to the article Library and browse by author (bottom option). Click Christian Thibaudeau and look around till you find the appropriate article.

100 pounds in 1 year might be possible, as long as you commit yourself to consistent exercise and clean eating, without getting distracted.
At your age, there are definitely going to be some obstacles (not the least of which will be school), but if this is something you want to do, then you can absolutely get it done.
In that case, cut off your arms and legs. That should help you to drop an easy 60 pounds fast.
Dude, I understand that you’re in a rush to drop this weight, but unhealthy methods simply aren’t worth it. A handful of patience will go a long way to getting you to your goals.
Definitely read through Vroom’s beginner thread (the one that Mr. Moose linked to). That’s a start. I don’t mind that you don’t have access to weights.
You can do plenty with just getting outside. Bike riding, shooting hoops, I’ve even had some people play handball as a workout. Just increasing your overall weekly activity will go a long way.
Just remember that patience-thing: Even though you have a timeframe to work within, you’ll need to balance strength training (bodyweight exercises will do just fine), cardio, and rest.
thanks alot but is there any diets recommended or workout programs i need as much help as possible because i really dont know how to change my lifestyle i need some real descriptive info and the articles are killing me any ideas?
Bro, your posts make you sound very impatient and you need to understand that body composition and lifestyle changes will come with time. You’re still very young and there’s no need to rush into anything.
Your health should be your primary focus as your current weight indicates to me that your lifestyle hasn’t been healthy from the prior years.
My advice is to read. Just read and learn about nutrition. Incorporate what you read into your every day life and begin from there. Nutritional changes will be your key to freedom.
Also, don’t worry about the amount of weight that you drop. Concern yourself w/ the amount of fat you drop. Take care bro. Best of luck.
You don’t know how to change your lifestyle? You can’t spell, and you have terrible grammar. You are 15 years old and weigh 298 lbs. Good God. Several people above have given you suggestions on how to change your lifestyle. Pay attention. Here are two more: ride a bike and start running.
Juice…
How many articles have you read so far?
Your previous post indicates you haven’t read anything! If you want to change the way you look YOU better do something! Get of your sorry ass and go for a walk then log on again and start reading.
If not, please don’t waste our time.
Good luck, not that luck has anything to do with it. Self discipline, determination and patience are what you need! Do YOU have it?
ok heres a superfast way to do it with no problems and no excuses r u ready!
eat less
work out more
the end.
…
You’re 100 pounds over what you want to be right now. That means you have at least a year to learn everything about this stuff. But no one is going to read it to you. No one is going to give you the magic formula. No one is going to do a second of your cardio or lift an ounce of the weight that you’re going to have to lift.
It’s on you. And the only thing you have to do is take responsibility, pour yourself a glass of water, and start reading the articles.
Start with Vroom’s Beginner’s thread.
Dan “r u ready!” McVicker
Juice,
let?s not beat around the bush any longer: Do you want to be fuckable, yes or no?
You can turn yourself into a testosterone-driven sex-god. All it takes is blood, sweat and tears. Ok, maybe I?m the only one crying, but the rest is guaranteed…
If the possibility of S-E-X doesn?t motivate you, you are a)in the wrong place and b) WTF?
Just read some of the articles and be patient.
Tips:
- Eat 5+ meals
- Learn how many calories you need to eat.
- Run
- Ride a bike, not a nice bike because unless you live in the rich part of compton your bike won’t be yours.
- Walk.
- Hey got an idea go mess withsome body and have a street fight. It’ll loosen up the fat tear it up so it’s easier to loose and then you’ll burn calories as you fight.
Ease up guys…he’s only 15 years old. Lets try to help instead of bashing the guy. Don’t you remember being 15 years old?
I’m gonna get totally flamed for this.
What got me started with weights was Body for Life (hadn’t found T-Nation yet). It was really simple to follow. Now I don’t recommend his workout plan exactly but the diet was really, really easy to follow, even with school. It was basically a carb and a protein, and maybe a little healthy fat six times a day. Maybe a dry baked potato, a chicken breast, and some fish oil. This is what I can remember. Since you don’t have access to weights I’d try the GPP. Also, just find something heavy and do some modified lifting with that.

Get a list of clean foods, and eat ONLY these foods. You can cheat once a week. Try to eat these foods. Get used to it. Get into a routine. Then, when you think your used to eating cleanly, run your ass off, and don’t stop.
im apologize for my impatience and my weakness in discipline i have read many more articles since my last post and i appreciate everything.
as far as being fuckable…in compton the only size that matters is the size of your pockets and that goes for any hood but as far as the real world goes i’ll need to be about 100 pounds lighter…
i really want to get leaner so i can change my position(in football) from D. Tackle to D. end and im not fast enough so i need to be smaller…i mean for a big guy i still run a 5.6 but for a D. end thats nothing i’ve been eating alot of fruit on the T-Dawg diet it said eat a healthy piece of fruit probably two hours a day to increase your metabolism and i eat salads too. i have read alot but if there’s any more tips i’d be really appreciative
