help! i'm melting!!

I tried the first workout of the Meltdown Training program (issue 173) and it absolutely devastated me. It’s been three days and I’m still limping! How can I possibly complete each routine twice weekly without destroying myself? Am I misinterpreting this article? What should I do? Please, any advice or even supplemental recommendations! I want to do this for six weeks…

  1. Use lighter weight, for now. 2) Stretch after your workout. 3)Take 5-10g of glutamine before/during your workout, with or without carbs is your call. 4)Take 10g of glutamine and some type of post-workout concoction. 5)Go back to the gym the next day, warm-up, stretch, sit in the sauna 10m(if available), then go home. 6)Go to bed by 9 or 10pm. 7)Have a good dietary regimen. 8)Don’t give up, remember, the mind gives up before the body does. Now go make it happen.

What do you mean by “devastated me”? (Soreness?)

By “devastated” I meant “DEVASTATED”!! (soreness)

Right now I’m using “Nature’s Best,” it’s $15 for 600grams. Champion is a good brand, just get a brand you’ve heard of before.
