Let me know if you got it. I’ve been having problems sending PMs lately.

I’ve had the blogs of T-Nation writers and contributors removed from my posts before, not sure what that’s supposed to promote.
Would you consider throat press’ an elbow friendly substitute fro extensions/skullcrushers? CG bench kill my shoulder, dips kill my shoulder, extensions feel “odd”, pushdowns don’t do much for me and the last thing I need is another upper , anterior injury haha.

If you do them right, there is very little shoulder rotation. As far as elbow friendly, not really. They will light your shit up. People with elbow issues seem to do pretty well with incline JM presses or incline DB rollbacks.
Thursday-AM-3/7/13, M/P=8, S=8, FST to LST= 10mins
Rev Hyper- 40lbsx50
Hamstring Curls- Lightx100
Standing Ab Work- Blue Band- One foot forward- x100
Reverse Hyper-40lbs x 30
Standing Ab Work- Close Stancex50
Had my initial PT appointment for my back today. The guy I use is literally the f*cking man. I got evaluated and then went through:
10mins of manual soft tissue stuff and
10mins of Graston tools being dug into my hip while I held several different “brace fro prison rape” positions. He tols me to tell him when the pain got too bad, I never said anything, and now I already have a bruise the size of Nebraska creeping it’s way to circumnavigating my entire midsection.
10mins of 10s on 10s off electric pulses being delivered into my spine
Good stuff.

Thank you STB I’ll give those a try.
If you changed your facebook profile pic to russel crowe people would still think it was you.
If you are an athlete and your primary goal is improving sports performance instead of increasing the your numbers in the big 3 lifts will it be good to replace bench press w/ Floor press for dynamic days? I was thinking because floor press takes away the stretch reflex thus working on your explosivness I think that would be good for sports. Also I plan on adding in dynamic BORs.

Funny, I had a dream I killed a tiger last night. But, it wasn’t in the colleseum. It was actually in the dining area of a taco bell I used to go to all the time in high school because it was on the way to a nice movie theature. They tore it down and built a CVS there I think. Not in my dream, that really did happen.

Well, I am of the mindset that maximal strength governs all other physical qualities. Especially explosiveness and RFD. I would say focus on strength in the offseason with a low volume of jumps and throws. Strength should still be priotity when the season/competition gets close but more emphasis can be placed on explosive strength (dynamic efforts, jumping, throwing, etc.)
If you give me some more specific info like what sport you play and how much time you have until the season starts, I can get more specific.
Friday- 3/8/13- Worked from 6am until 930pm… no training.
Saturday-3/9/12- AM-
1 Legged Reverse Hyper- 40lbs x 20 each
100 total reps of various standing ab exercises
PM- DE Upper/My brutal set vid
Rev. Hyper- 40lbsx50
Bench Scap Set Stuff x a lot
Lax Ball Pecs
Fat Bar Bench- 75x a billion, 165x5x3, 215x10x3/30s rest between
Brutal Set/Tricpe Hell- 275lbs on the fat bar- 5 reps on a 4 board, immediately to 5 reps on a 3 board, all the way down to my chest, then back up, then tried to go back down. Jesus this sucked. 48 total reps.
4 inch cambered bar row- 135x2x12, 225x2x6, 315x6, 405x6<~~~ Pendlay rows. Holding the bar up the whole time hurt the shit out of my incisions.
