Good post dude, really enjoyed it! Caffiene ftw!!
Training looks like its being going tasty, good to see! Well except for teh SSB sesh but hey good to see ur hammy is still hanging on their! loL! But yeah dude just wanted to get your advice (or experience if so) on Inzer gear? Im moving to single ply now (IPF federation) after a 100% Raw meet in the beggining of December and wanted to know if you ever used Inzer before or anything like that as your first suits when getting into geared lifting. Just be interested to hear your experiences or whatever!
I really really like the inzer single ply stuff. For the love of God, just don’t get any titan gear. The grooves are all screwed up. It seems to me they tried to make all that stuff easier to use than other gear but royally messed up. Anyway, The MAX DL is the best deadlift suit I have ever used. I pull conventional and get set-up pretty fast. That suit allows me to move around a little bit and I get a ton of spring off the floor.
I’ve done some sumo pulling in the Fusion and that is awesome too. I have also used the Metal IPF deadlifter. I think I got it a size to small because everytime I got down to the bar I felt like I was going to shit my spine out of my eye sockets… wow. That’s quite a visual. That one had some good pop off the floor as well but I have very very thick legs and had some trouble getting it on and getting my sizing right.
The inzer single ply squat suit, the Hardcore, is good for medium stance squatting. Wider gets a little tricky. The Metal IPF squatter, Viking maybe? was much more comfortable for me because I squat pretty wide. I havent used it in competition yet just because my hardcore is so much more broken in (i have had it for about 2 years and it still gives a ton of support.
I think it is a tie between the RageX and the King Presser for the best bench shirt. The rageX is easier to use, for sure, but the King lets you handle a shit load more weight once you get the groove.
So as far as advice, go one of the Inzer deadlift suits depending on your pulling style. The Hardcore if you squat medium or close, the Viking if you squat wide. It’s a toss up for the bench shirt. Either one you get, take your time working it in. Don’t try to get a weight to touch your chest the first couple of workouts. That’s a good way to make the shirt explode.
Did that help? Kinda got off on a ramble a couple of times. haha.
Thanks for the reply dude! I like to hear from the more experienced lifters on their experiences and opinions, always rad to hear! I really wanted to get metal gear, but Inzer seems to the most widely used here in SA and the only guys I could find that sell gear here all use Inzer, so I can only get the Trx, Fusion and Rage-X.
Just wanted to know if you had experience with any of them and stuff. I heard the Rage-X was a lot better for a “newb” when trying to learn a shirt as the groove of it doesn’t throw u off too much as from the metal range. But yeah dude thanks for the knowledge bomb drop!
I just liked the Metal shirts because they seemed more suited for someone with longer arms… which I most definitely am! The RageX is awesome though.
