Damn, just saw this.

Shit happens but you rise from it and get much stronger.

Keep positive, big man. All the best with your new ventures.

Great to hear from you HT.

You have my contact info man, stay in touch.

It will get better each day HT, little by little. Day 3 is where I have always noticed a substantial difference in healing and pain.

Best wishes cousin.

That’s about what mine looked like 2 days post-op. It’s amazing how fake it looks when you see it in a picture.

Not being on crutches is a big bonus. What happened with the knee?

Great to hear from you! You sure got off of crutches quickly.

james

That’s one swollen leg. Get well soon.

It’s really good to see that you’re still with us, HT. I would hate it if you were no longer part of the Nation. Get well, brother.

What’s with the knee, HT? Arthroscopy?

thanks everyone/

i need a total knee replacement, but i am so young for that, so my surgeon scoped me to clean up some torn/rough cartilage and debris, as well as do a lateral release. the point is to by me a few more years before i HAVE to have the total knee done.

Sucks. What will that do with lifting?

not sure at this point, right now i just want to be able to walk and work and do reasonable daily activities and recreation without pain.

as it was, it was very tough making it through a night at work, could not ride my bike or walk my dog without significant pain, and things like playing around shooting baskets with my girls or even tossing a Frisbee at the park was out of the question.

for the last 2-3 months, i stoped doing any leg work besides dead-lift variations, just to let you know how bad it had became.

Get better, quick, big guy.

Any advice for us “young” and dumb guys to not let that happen?
