No.measurements - “been lazy” well fuck
No weights - telling me 207-209… Is like telling me nothing
No regular pics - i do not care if YOU cant tell if there is a change
No comment on food intake or energy levels

HT from the full house crowd.

take it easy Z. there are more important things in life than being shredded. i am having issues right now that is jeopardizing 20 plus year career

despite that, i have been hitting the gym, and working out, and sticking with the diet. i did take measurements, but they were the same! so i did not feel need to post all of them, cept a .5" reduction in waist.

energy levels are shit, not due to diet but stress levels, i have slept maybe 6 hours last 5 days.

SERIOUS

if going through this stuff and still trucking along with the diet and plan not good enough, then you can “fire” me. i will still continue to try to lose on my own.

i hope that is not the case.

you sais pics every TWO weeks, it was just one week ago i took pics, and since i did not see a huge difference, decided to wait the full two weeks to take front side and back shots, i got excited about getting under 205, sort of a psychological milestone for me, so i posted a quick pic.

here are the daily weights, i took them but just did not post them:

Looking much leaner man, even if the scale hasn’t changed drastically lately. Arms especially look lean.

Let’s all calm down for a second, good things are happening here. Let’s keep them going. Bunch of high testosterone guys in this thread, I can understand heads butting and all, but let’s stay the course.

HT, Z’s dietary philosophy involves monitoring daily fluctuations. He’s a detail guy and he’s got this down to a science of sorts, so I understand why he’s so adamant about the weights and measures. Remember also that English isn’t his first language, so this is sort of like dealing with the crazy foreign relative that means well but doesn’t speak English well enough to communicate perfectly all the time. Whenever he gets mad at you, take what he’s saying to heart, and try to think of it less as trenraged Canuck and more as awkward, but sort of loveable tourist getting frustrated with driving on the right side of the road.

Have you started the new program yet? This most recent progress picture is so excellent that I actually texted Z about it. Very good work. Excited to see how you respond to the 6 day program.

As always, keep us updated and don’t be afraid with questions if you have them.

hey strong, i did two of the new workouts, and yesterday i looked up my old boxing gym/coach and got a boxing workout in, 2 hours of hell. it was fun, but i am not sure it is the right type of training for me right now.

any advice on this will be appreciated.

btw down to 202lbs now.

Forgive me, as I’ve had a very long week, but You’re asking whether or not the boxing workout is the right type of training for you or not?

Well…that depends…what sort of things are you doing in that workout? Cardio? Jump rope? bag drills?

I imagine some of the answer lies with whether or not Z thinks cardio is a good idea. If it’s a HIIT/cardio sort of workout, I have no problem with it as long as Z is OK with it.

Ok cool. Maybe provide some more info on how many times per week you plan on doing this stuff and the average duration and all that for Z so he can tailor your diet to it. I imagine he may have some adjustments to the plan already given the 6 training days you have now.

I’ve got no problem with it myself, as long as it satisfies three conditions:

  1. it doesn’t negatively impact your lifting
  2. Z is OK with it
  3. you enjoy it

Sound fair?

I AM GOING TO MAKE THIS AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE.

i am not going to be posting as much for a while.

i have lost my job and my ability to practice (license) is being attacked, and i am in a legal fight for my career right now.

i am going to continue to diet and train, for mental reasons i have got back more into fighting(boxing) than lifting, understand that i need the physical abuse/challenge from this type of training to keep my mind occupied and not blow a gasket and jump off a cliff.

i still plan on following the diet, and the original weightlifting plan stronghold wrote out but probably only 1-2 times a week, as fight training is going to be 3-5 days a week.

i am not looking for sympathy, but maybe empathy.

if i have disappointed anybody or angered anybody, please respect the very serious events going on in my life right now and keep any negative comments to yourselves.

i will ask, that any positive thoughts, prayers, or wishes be sent my way if any are inclined to do so.

i am hovering 199-203lbs, and i will post pics at some point, but i just cant be as regular with updates such as i am sure strong and Z want me to be.

on the positive side, i am leaner now than i have been in 25 years, not since i would cut weight to make the 181lb weight class in power lifting as a teenager

if z and strong are still willing to work with me based on my new training strategy, and more limited time on the site, i would be grateful, but if not i understand, but again, if any of this angers or leads anyone to talk down or chastise me, please do so in silence as i have said i cannot tolerate any negative vibes aimed at me right now.
