Heavy Grippers Question

I can rep out 25 prefect reps with the 150 but can only manage 1 or 2 shitty reps with the 200.

Do you think it might be inaccurately labeled? It seems odd.

Unrelated; that’s how I want to look in 10 years. Beard and all.

that guy is pretty big, to bad he died(in the movie)

well should probably work on doing 175 12-15times? then 190 for 5reps or so?

They come in increments of 50.

wow im so sorry, I for some reason thought you were referring to deadlift…lol sorry

as for that I don’t use those, wish I had some…

you can try force reps with 200?

or some how try to make 150 harder

Ohhhhhhhh. You got Heavy Grip grippers? they are really random. The chances are the 200s are close to 200, but the 150s are about 90-120. And the 100s are often 110-60.

I think they are a really shitty brand. I have bought 3 of them, all messed up and wrong. My 200s were about 160…

I am going to buy some other brand next time, probably the all famous Captains of Crush. No bias here.

I was thinking of getting the #1, 2 and 3 CoCs and to just to use the heavy grippers as intermediary levels.

I hate the knurling on them too, it’s not deep enough.

Try squashing a tennis ball. Once you can do that, do a baseball

In case you were serious, the limited ROM would be useless.

I wasn’t. I like to give LiftSmart a hard time.

The HG are known for their variance. My HG250 is harder than my COC#2 but other people say theirs is about a COC#1.5. And there is variance in the COC as well. Not as much as the HG but still.

Where are you getting stuck on the HG200?

About 1" from full closure.

So you are stuck at the crush portion. Have you tried choked reps with your problem gripper or overcrushes with a lighter one? I’ve had luck in the past using negatives. Just use your other hand to help close it all the way and then squeeze for dear life until your hand opens up.
