He Insists You Are Hector Reborn. Or Was It Hercules?

Merry Christmas, Csulli, do any hardcore eating? Also, nice PR, you’re sure to pull 6 plates in a couple of years.

My favorite thing about this is that you can see it go from day to night in the background.
Jeebus, your dl’ing partner… didn’t even look like he was putting in effort. What is his 1RM or 2RM ???

I am actually more impressed by the 30 pull ups than the 545 deadlift. Probably because I’m a big fat guy though lol. Nice lifts in here, you’tr progressing well.

545 1x PR

Holy shit it’s taken me a long time to get that one. Been stuck around 530 for a year and a half. Really happy to finally move forward a space on deads. 545 is a cool one as you know since it’s 5 plates plus a 25. Hopefully the road up to 585 won’t be as long.
Race ya! I just recently hit 550. Been a long, long road for me too though, maybe race to 565 first lol
That has to feel great. Still a ways behind but in the last 4 months I finally broke my barrier of 5 plates only. Can’t wait to get it to yours the next mini mark on the way to 6 plates.
Hell yea man. Hope you don’t take as long between 5 plates and 545 as I did though lol. You’re smarter about your training, I’m sure it won’t be too tough for ya.

Thanks dude. I got a ton of turkey and ham in. Now it’s time to pound candy all day.

Here’s what I did lol:

180 reps deadlift at 315!
185 pullups!

You are a Beast!

BTW I love how you remind us near the end that “it is still 2x speed”

Geez, how sore were you the next day?

Hey bud, impressive challenge! Going back to you losing the weight - I was just wondering what sort of rate you lost it at? On average how much weight did you roughly lose per week? And was it pretty linear or more step-wise? I’m trying to do the same thing myself at the moment, and seem to be losing a pretty steady 1lb/week which seems low but I’m not too fussed.

Btw on your recommendation I asked for The Purposeful Primitive for my birthday and got it - really enjoying it!

Csulli, on a scale of 1 to fucked, how fucked up are you feeling?

I felt fine actually lol. I’ve bought my immunity to soreness with frequency and volume. If I took some time off that would change drastically though.

Was pretty consistent. I honestly didn’t track the weight loss that much, because it was mostly incidental. I cleaned up my diet and it just sorta happened lol. I do recall it being quite linear, albeit slow. I lost the 20lbs over the course of several months.

And that is a fantastic book; hope you get some good knowledge out of it.
