225 5x
275 4x
275 4x
275 4x
275 4x My form felt like shit today. I couldn’t seem to get it feeling right. My butt kept shooting up and my leg drive was all wrong. I don’t know why this is so goddamn complicated for me.
I threw 2 plates back on after I was done and did 4 or 5 more sets of 5 just to try and find my technique. I didn’t feel like I accomplished anything on the 275 sets.

Pullups:
4 sets of 15

Here’s the 315 set:

Here’s my whole bench workout minus the first couple warmups:

Still not happy with my form. I’m trying to get my leg drive back, but it makes it tough to keep my butt down. Why can’t they just make these benches a little fucking higher?

I like the gay vibe of shirtless training.

ps: You remind me of that kid from Terminator 2 - John or something.

If the sun is out it must follow that the guns come out. That’s just science.

Your elbows move a lot in the bottom of the lift.

I don’t know if that’s a bad thing, I just notice it every time.

Chia notices that too, and it probably is a bad thing…

You’re not the first person who’s told me I look like Edward Furlong…

135 9x
135 9x That challenge stuff made my pressing a lot harder though.

Your conditioning with volume is just disgusting.

Overhead workout after bench press bodyweight pullup xtreme p90x insanity six pack abs workout? Wowzor!

This is me at 190 with some shadowy light bullshit. Actually it’s still not that lean, but I have lost some extra fat. It’s crazy how much weight you have to lose before you actually look cut lol. I’d have to lose like another 10 fucking pounds.

Ab Wheel:
3 sets of 10

I also did my first halfway decent standing ab wheel rep. I actually think I’m most stoked about that than anything else today.

Here’s a 275 set:

And a 295 set:

So true. Have a full relaxed 6 pack and 10lbs still from even a little cut. God it’s weird

Everyone is not as big as they think they are and fatter than they think they are.
Omar isuf has a really good video on his YouTube channel about the whole 6 pack deal.

Same thing I found… although I like to think I got to within 5 lbs of where I really wanted to be conditioning-wise. I’m glad I set myself some limits up front and capped it at 5 weeks.

Why no squat… Are we not a power lifter at all any more?

You mean video wise? I should keep filming my squats; I got kind of complacent about doing it because my form is feeling so much better. Bench is the one where I’m always feeling like the form is tricky. 99% of the reason for all the bench videos is to make sure my butt is staying on the bench.
