Harder Than I Thought

You are very small for 26. If you actually want to compete in real show…you are running out of your best mass building years.

eat and lift for 4+ years.

Then struggle your way to low bodyfat again.

You shouldn’t be competing, it lowers the standards of bodybuilding.

Sorry. And yes yes I know, I’m just a jealous hating internet prick.
wow, you’re actually saying that I’m lower the standards of bodybuilding. you’re a real cock sucker! Piss off you wanker!

you truely are a tosser. thanks for the comments.

Hah.

Should have expected that response.

Do you feel you look like an accomplished bodybuilder, honestly?

Bodybuilder, not “better than alot of guys my age”.

you lost a lot of the little respect you may have had with that post, nice fuck up. Learn to take criticism, if you knew this board you should have expected this so don’t throw a temper tantrum like a little boy. You are 26 so act like it.

I agree with most of what outlaw said, but when he makes a bad comment about you why do you feel the need to ask him about his physique, what does that matter…

I’ll be honest, when i saw the back pic, i thought it was that 60 year old body builder dude posting another thread.
Work on your back.

Congrats on the low bf% and the dedication to diet down for a show. Where and when was this show? What weight class did you compete in?

Lats, traps and overall legs are borderline pathetic, but what the hell do I know…
bmitch wrote:
I don’t see why everyone is hating. You don’t have a ton of muscle but your physique is still decent and better then many of the other people who post in this forum. Looks goods just needs more mass
because while he may or may not have a bit more mass than some of the people criticising him at least the people criticising him arent dieting down for a show. i was not aware of a 160lb division for bodybuilders. ive been seeing more and more pics of very amateaur “bodybuilders” posting lately. people who have a very large lack of muscle mass and dont know the basics of contest prep. learn to cut your water…theres a fuckin article on it here for christ’s sake and learn to be patient about contests. people hit the weights for a year and think theyre beating down the door of the Olympia. theres football players who would look better than half these clowns who call themselves bodybuilders. i may be coming off a little harsh but you know what, good, because obviously people like you have this thing where you think youre king of the fucking world if youve already gassed yourself up enough to enter a show looking the way you do. deflate your fucking ego.

Doing a show was much more difficult than I thought it would be. The diet just sucks!!! I think i was worth it in the end. I’m 100% natural here. Seeing that this forum is usually pretty honest, I’d like to hear your thoughts. Funny ones too!
You need to add thickness to your back.
i don’t know how long are you lifting but you look “young” to be on stage.

Also the legs look like they need improvement in mass and thickness

Also shoulders need works.

yeah it looks good, i mean you’re tanned… but… with all politeness, and take this as an ‘older brother’ type of advice, you need alot more mass, everywhere.

This is the rear double bicep from the same show… I know I’m not massive, but I think my back is symmetric to the rest of my body.

Symmetrically small, yes.

You need to get size man, I thought you were like 19 maybe.(I really hate sounding impolite which I know this does.) I competed at 19(I’m 20 now) and was ALOT bigger than that =\

You need to learn to take criticism better…

I guess the question here is one of relative standards. For a natural bodybuilder I think you look pretty good. Sure you could use more size, but everyone at the comp probably would say the same thing about themselves. If people are comparing you to the pros, or even amateurs on gear, then of course you look smaller. It’s also very hard to diet down for a comp and not lose a lot of muscle, unless, again, you take clenbuterol, etc.

For critique- in the rear double bi you have good definition, and good size on your shoulders and upper mid back. I think you need to work your lats more, and your lower back. Your legs could also use work. Bodybuilders are always works in progress, so just keep eating and try to keep gaining lean mass. Good luck!

I really don’t think some of ya’ll have looked at some naturals.

This guy does not look impressive, even for a natural. He looks like an average guy who goes to the gym who put on a banana hammock and got a spray tan.

“not massive” is one way to put it, confusing people into thinking youre a 60 year old man is another.

no your back isnt “symetric” to the rest of your body, its proportional. there isnt one thing thats out of proportion on your body because youre small all over.

stop making excuses for yourself, like it or not you havent achieved anything. you look like youve been training half assed for a couple years at a gym with no one 3x your size so youre Men’s Health reading neighbors gassed your head up when they ran by your house on their 6k jogs and paused to commend you on your tremendous achievements. you must live in a rural area because if you trained a city gym you would have been faced daily with people greatly larger than yourself and you would have been kept in check.

I just glanced through the comments and know the guys think you’re small. I agree.

If you want to be a great bodybuilder and I were you, I would take the next 3 years off, eat like an animal (steak and potatoes all day), and try to get my lift numbers up as high as possible because nobody benching 500 pounds raw and deadlifting 700 pounds is small.

Work on the amount of weight you’re handling. I know you know this already, but if you’re benching 225x8 and you work up to 315x8 you’ll be a much bigger boy. As someone else mentioned, I think GS, don’t waste your prime years of gaining mass cutting and doing shows, take advantage of your test levels.

Oh man are you walking into it. This is just like my start here…don’t let them run you out of here.

Now, honestly…You have 0 calves, 0 hamstrings, a decent back and no arms. You sound like you’re doing the same thing I did when I first came here “Oh look I’m in better shape than 90% of my peers”. You look like you know your way around a bosu ball. That’s not a compliment, and it’s the same thing I heard when I first started posting here.
Kalle wrote:

That’s the first step.

Did you disappear to some other forum so you can get praise there. This place could be the best thing for you fitness wise if you smarten up and listen and not get all mad when people don’t say what you wanted to hear.

So I really hope you are still reading all this, post again and accept the critizism and learn from it, don’t be stubborn most of these guys know more then you about all this…it is of course, a bodybuilding website.

dude every time I see your posts on T-Nation, you never have anything good to say. Stop hating, at least the guy can probably bench 205 more than 8 reps
