Took 3 days off in a row from my last lifting for a break and change. Also, been working in temps over 100 degrees fahrenheit the last couple days which drained me pretty well. Tonight got back to some light lifting.

Extreme heat today totally exhausted me so I am taking tonight off. It was only 103 degrees fahrenheit. Other times I have been okay with this kind of heat but I am having some muscle spasms in my arms and lower back. I did a ton of tall bamboo trimming holding a tree trimmer overhead for extended periods on and off for about an hour along with other work. It’s an easy week so I am taking advantage to be lazy and take days off to be fat.
Well working in the 105 degrees heat today was a ton of fun. Managed to stay hydrated and kept my minerals up so recovery was okay. Then lifting tonight at only 85 degrees in the garage was wonderful-barely broke a sweat.

Thanks hawkcapt, one has to gauge themselves carefully in order to tolerate the heat and humidity here. Today it was up to 107 degrees but by the time I was lifting it was only about 100 fahrenheit.

I took off Wednesday and I’m taking off tonight but my plan is to kill it for the next 3 days which will occupy me with a goal for this long weekend. 5-6 lift days a week will suffice for me and all I want tonight is a Blizzard from Dairy Queen.
