My bench was less than my best today because my chest was still a bit beat up from Friday. I know I will bench more tomorrow. This was a quick lifting session because my wife and I were given 1 1/2 hour massages at Massage Envy and I had to make the appointment. The squats and deads felt good.

Nice work on the SLDL! I fuggin hate them or they hate me. Either way there is a mutual level of hate.

I need to have one of those dinner nights with my wife soon. Hope you and the misses had a good time. Your lifts are looking great as well.

@Senior Hawkcapt- Thanks, I actually love stiff-legged deadlifts. I think they have translated to more increases on my standard deads than anything else. They are tough though.

@NHFLTR-Having two little girls and work, and lifting and etc…makes it difficult to find time for dates with the wife these days but every chance we have is precious.

Last night the lifting went well as I did a moderate night not going to heavy.

135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 3
410 x 3(Deep-Raw)

All moved well. Feeling good.

Had to hurry up my lifting after work to make my daughter’s orientation for VPK. Had a good talk with the teacher. Lifting went well and was fast.

Total lift time was about 50 minutes. It’s about 5 hours later and my whole body aches but it’s a good hurt, one that let’s me know good work had been accomplished.

That’s a lot of work for under an hour.

First you picked an awesome day for your Uterine Escape ( hahaha)… Happy Belated!

Second, your lifts are always impressive but even more so seeing you do them after physical work in 100 degree temps/sun …brutal man, just brutal…great efforts all around.

Yeah Crippler, feeling it today but some moderated lifting later should work out the kinks.

OG its all fun!

Didn’t get to lift last night because I was exhausted from work and getting very little sleep the night before. My baby girl was sick and coughing all night so that’s how it goes. Tonight I did a moderate night for a fast lifting of about 40 minutes.

Squats:
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 3
415 x 3(All raw-all deep)

CG Fat Gripz Bench Press:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 1(pause)
250 x 1(pause)

SL Deadlifts from pin just below knee:
225 x 5
315 x 3
415 x 3

Hanging Leg Raises:(Pull up hang-no straps)
1 x 20

Looking good GV. I was thinking of a way to do some stone lifting without the stone and I remembered something I had done one winter. I took the end off of and olympic bar and loaded the plates on. Then lifted it like a stone. Obviously use a really good collar to hold everything on.

very impressive squats-
I like that you squat pull and press each session.

NHLFTR: Incredible ideas with the olympic bar end. I have an extra bar so I think I am going to start doing some of those exercises soon. Thank you.

brotardscience: Thanks, it’s tough work sometimes that leaves me aching but the body conditioning and strengthening is great.

I just realized that I have accidentally trained 4 heavy weeks in a row. I was supposed to make this last week an easy-lighter week. So, tonight will be my last heavy day until Sunday, August 24. I really like taking a break every 3 weeks because it gives my body a needed rest. It irks me some that I missed my scheduled pause.

Deload weeks are needed. Sometimes I get ahead of myself and forget that. Nice work as always.

I hope it adds some useful and fun exercises to your workouts.

Thanks NHLFTR. Tonight the lifting went well and ended my heavy phase for a week.

Wanted more on my deficit deads but the 455 sapped my strength. Bench and Squat were solid. Looking to come back in a week and start adding weight again but for the next 7 days I’m taking it easy.

Your light weeks are heavy to me! Glad to see you still going hard and staying injury free!
