Thanks all. Yes it would be nice to find another training partner as dedicated to crushing iron and Powerball would solve a lot of issues if one were to win.
Mr. late2thegame-I need all the steam I can get so yeah those micro plates are awesome for breaking the edge.
Didn’t have time to record yesterday’s lifting until now but things went well despite no lifting buddy.

110 lbs x 40 swings(btwn sets)
Squats:(ATG-RAW!)
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 3
405 x 2
501 x 1(Okay I used a belt for this one)
Bench Press:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 1
260 x 1
280 x 1(Pause Rep)
Overhead Press:
135 x 5
165 x 3
213 x 1
An hour of lifting and weight moved well. I thought I would have more on the bench today but my body said enough at the 280. I believe with some rest I have a 290 or 295 pause in me now which is an improvement since December. Foreseeing no more set backs I would like to pause bench somewhere in the area of 315 to 325 by the end of May and have my squat and dead in the 600s again.
Great work, GV. Go crush those goals!
Thanks Crippler and Jack. I forgot to mention that I took the challenge offered by Fischer and did the Overhead Dumbbell Carries after my lifting on Saturday. I walked for 50 yards with 35 lbs dumbbells overhead and it was fantastic, exhausting, great destruction to my shoulders and back not to mention overloading my core as a great way to cap off the heavy lifting and get work in a new way. My lats were unusually fried on Sunday, even had some muscle spasms…what a kicker.
Tonight went well and my training buddy showed up.

Decided to go light this week but this was still a kick-ass lifting session.
Ok, I’m in. I think I’m going to give the overhead carries a shot.
