Tonight was spectacular because the more I did the better I felt after taking a day off. I’ve been doing a ton of mobility work so that may have helped.

Completely forgot to do abs but oh well. Felt strong and energetic tonight.

I think alternating regular squats with safety bar squats is working well for me.

Everyday squats are double tough. Nice work GV.

How’d you like American Hustle? She Say and I had to take a break halfway through. I couldn’t stand any of the characters, so was tough for me to like.

I loved American Hustle. Sometimes the characters were so easy to hate the acting was awesome. I think the way the film progressed the acting and direction was superb. Sorry you and the missus didn’t like it sen say.

We’ve been hating on most movies lately…don’t get us started on Wolf of Wall Street.

Heard the reviews for Wolf of Wall Street weren’t that good so I’ll wait for the DVD.

I used to work in Hollywood and got so disillusioned I REALLY don’t like movies.

Cavalier, what did you do? I like movies as a distraction and for entertainment but I don’t think the actors are deity. I also think many people believe movies are much more important than they are.

Tonight I felt pretty good after 2 days of rest and watching great playoff games.

Everything moved nicely tonight. Finally getting back to taking two days off in a row helped me recover nicely from last week’s lifting. I left a little on the Football Bar bench so I hope to see bigger numbers there which will translate nicely to the regular bench press.

Numbers seem to be moving forward nicely GV. Good work.

@chobbs: He with the best toys Wins! Or so I’ve heard. I make an effort to slowly add a piece of equipment whenever I can justify spending the money. Since I don’t spend much on any toys for myself beyond the occasional tech gadget lifting equipment gets the rest of my fun money attention.

Didn’t do any abs tonight to save further stressing my neck/trap area. Now I’m off to do a bunch of mobility work for my upper back and slightly traumatized left trap. I figure I’ll find a way to fit in at least an hour or more of mobility work and/or EMS before bed.

Solid work. I like the fat gripz after the press.

Nice work on a “low energy night.” That would destroy lesser men.
