$33 for an hour? Man…I pay a hundred bucks…it is in a really nice place in Downtown Washington DC and involves heated stones and hot girls and stuff…

@sen say-Well I guess your place has its perks.

Today’s lifting was pleasantly strong and I felt refreshed.

T-Handle Swings:
100 lbs x 2 sets x 20 reps

225 x 5
315 x 5
405 x 1(3 second pause at bottom)

Fat Gripz Bench Press:

185 x 5
225 x 3
315 x 3/4 rep(Will get it next time perhaps without the Fat Gripz)

185 x 1

Trap Bar Deadlift(No belt):
140 x 5
230 x 5
320 x 5
410 x 10

Everything felt great. Now one day of rest and Monday begins the next 3 weeks of daily max lifting-Yahoo!

Terrible sleep last night, just one of those nights. Felt kind of out of it but got the lifting in:

T-Handle Swings:
100 lbs x 2 sets x 20 reps

Squats:
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 3
425 x 1(ATG, no belt, no wraps)

Bench Press:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 1
265 x 1

Standing Crunches:
80 lbs x 20

Just not feeling it but hey every day isn’t the best day.

Another bad night of rest and I woke up with the excruciating pain in my traps and neck so I did a bunch of rolling and therapy but it wasn’t until after an epson salt bath that I really began to loosen up. Then, I did a bunch of mobility work before training.

T-Handle Swings:
100 lbs x 2 sets x 20 reps

Squats:
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 3
428 x 1(3 second pause at bottom, no belt, no wraps, ATG)

Fat Gripz Close Grip Bench Press:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 5
268 x 1
225 x 8

Standing OHP:
135 x 5
155 x 3
190 x 1

40 minute lifting time for a fairly quick and intense session. Some tightness remains in my neck and traps so a lot more therapy tonight.

Solid OHP…dumb question, how much of the epsom salt do you put in your water when you take a bath in it

your lifting max weights all week, correct? sucks being sore going into that…

Nice “bad” day…hahaha you kill me 400lb plus ATG squats with a pause on a bad day…I would like to order one of those bad days!! Good stuff GV

@chobbs-I use to full 8oz cups of epson salt in a hot bath and it works miracles. I won’t do it every day but only when I am really hurting. I understand to much of the epson salt baths is bad but I’m not sure if I am right.

@confusion-Yeah! It sucks being all beat up going in to lift but the magic happens when after my T-Handle swings and I am warmed up the pain mostly hides away or just vanishes.

@OG-Sometimes the difference between a bad and good day is such a thin line I have trouble telling them apart. Thanks.

Thanks all.

I always find when I am limited for time, I usually have excellent and intense sessions.

True Dat Matty.
Lifting went well tonight after having a decent night of sleep.

T-Handle Swings:
100 lbs x 2 sets x 20 reps

135 x 10

185 x 5

SlingShot Bench Press:
225 x 5
275 x 1
325 x 1(Easy tonight)

Standing Crunches:
80 lbs x 20

40 minutes of intense lifting and out. Really working the hips and thoracic with deep, painful, effective rolling is helping a lot coupled with the MARC PRO and my therapy seems to be helping recovery quite a bit. Not odd for me to put in 2 hours a day of mobility work though it is spread out using different methods at different times.

Good work GV. I admire your dedication to mobility work. If I get 10 minutes in at night it is a good day for me. I have plenty of determination when comes to lifting but unless something is really bothering I tend to blow off mobility work which I know isn’t the right thing to do.

wow 2 hours of mob work and I thought I was dedicated ! that’s 4or 5 days worth for me…well done

Thanks guys, if I don’t do the rolling and electric stimulation I pay for it in pain, discomfort, and the ability to move as I want is greatly diminished. I have two young children so it is necessary to be able to move well and quickly.

Lifting tonight went well.

T-Handle Swings:
100 x 2 x 20

Squats:
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 3
433 x 1(ATG-3 sec. pause at bottom)

Floor Presses:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 3
255 x 1
275 x 1

Standing OHP:
135 x 5
160 x 3
193 x 1

45 minutes of lifting for a good night now it’s off to therapy and eating and kids and chores and TV, and MARC PRO and then if I’m lucky a night of sleep.

Ahhh floor presses I miss them…and nice pause squat…3 sec must be an eternity with 433 on your back…well done

Thanks OG.
Tonight I felt good, oddly enough I felt good.

T-Handle Swings:
100 lbs x 2 x 20

Squats:
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 3
435 x 1(ATG-3 sec. pause at bottom)

Close Grip Floor Presses:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 3
255 x 1
278 x 1
225 x 3

Standing Crunches:
80 lbs x 20

Floor Presses felt stronger than last night. Squat was on. Must have been the moon’s gravity making me feel strong.

You may have a bit of werewolf in you. Or maybe just wolf,I think they howl at the moon also…Either way,it’s totally cool. Nice lifting bud

Thanks confusion.

Close grip floor presses, very nice. Once more you have given me a movement to think about.

Tonight, I couldn’t get any motivation or energy going for lifting. Could be the after effects of taking care of my baby girl and 3 year old girl the last 3 days by myself. Having my two girls myself this past weekend has been a blessing but it’s been some of the most attention intensive 15 hour work days I’ve ever had. So, I lifted:

T-Handle Swings:
100 lbs x 2 x 20

Squats:(no belt, no wraps)
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 5
455 x 1(ATG-3 sec. pause)

Bench Press:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 3
267 x 1

Standing Crunches:
80 lbs x 20

I wanted more on the bench tonight but I just didn’t having left in the tank after the last set. I received my fractional plates tonight and used them on the bench. I got a discount on Amazon so they were expensive but less than I could have paid for them. I’m excited to have the fractional plates and will use them as much as possible.
