$33 for an hour? Man…I pay a hundred bucks…it is in a really nice place in Downtown Washington DC and involves heated stones and hot girls and stuff…
Another bad night of rest and I woke up with the excruciating pain in my traps and neck so I did a bunch of rolling and therapy but it wasn’t until after an epson salt bath that I really began to loosen up. Then, I did a bunch of mobility work before training.

225 x 5

Fat Gripz Close Grip Bench Press:

268 x 1
225 x 8
Standing OHP:

40 minute lifting time for a fairly quick and intense session. Some tightness remains in my neck and traps so a lot more therapy tonight.
@chobbs-I use to full 8oz cups of epson salt in a hot bath and it works miracles. I won’t do it every day but only when I am really hurting. I understand to much of the epson salt baths is bad but I’m not sure if I am right.
@confusion-Yeah! It sucks being all beat up going in to lift but the magic happens when after my T-Handle swings and I am warmed up the pain mostly hides away or just vanishes.
@OG-Sometimes the difference between a bad and good day is such a thin line I have trouble telling them apart. Thanks.
True Dat Matty.
Lifting went well tonight after having a decent night of sleep.

40 minutes of intense lifting and out. Really working the hips and thoracic with deep, painful, effective rolling is helping a lot coupled with the MARC PRO and my therapy seems to be helping recovery quite a bit. Not odd for me to put in 2 hours a day of mobility work though it is spread out using different methods at different times.
Good work GV. I admire your dedication to mobility work. If I get 10 minutes in at night it is a good day for me. I have plenty of determination when comes to lifting but unless something is really bothering I tend to blow off mobility work which I know isn’t the right thing to do.
Thanks guys, if I don’t do the rolling and electric stimulation I pay for it in pain, discomfort, and the ability to move as I want is greatly diminished. I have two young children so it is necessary to be able to move well and quickly.

45 minutes of lifting for a good night now it’s off to therapy and eating and kids and chores and TV, and MARC PRO and then if I’m lucky a night of sleep.
Tonight, I couldn’t get any motivation or energy going for lifting. Could be the after effects of taking care of my baby girl and 3 year old girl the last 3 days by myself. Having my two girls myself this past weekend has been a blessing but it’s been some of the most attention intensive 15 hour work days I’ve ever had. So, I lifted:
T-Handle Swings:
100 lbs x 2 x 20
Squats:(no belt, no wraps)
135 x 10
225 x 5
315 x 5
455 x 1(ATG-3 sec. pause)
Bench Press:
135 x 10
185 x 5
225 x 3
267 x 1
Standing Crunches:
80 lbs x 20
I wanted more on the bench tonight but I just didn’t having left in the tank after the last set. I received my fractional plates tonight and used them on the bench. I got a discount on Amazon so they were expensive but less than I could have paid for them. I’m excited to have the fractional plates and will use them as much as possible.
