This exact interaction has happened at least a dozen times with this poster. I’m sure it makes us feel better to say it, but I’m very doubtful that it actually makes an impression on the gentleman. Alas.

I can guess at one or two who might endorse that statement, but it’s probably best not to group people as diverse as the ones posting here, and speaking for others is always problematic unless asked.

Which is absolutely fine, it’s just pluralizing the sentiment to include others that I question. It’s a clique behavior, which “we” have been accused of at times, but I think the diversity of the posters here makes a clique unlikely. There seems to be a majority of posters in OT who share a general outlook on male/female dynamics which amounts to “not doomed,” but beyond that I don’t know that there are majority-shared political positions.
Even GB…he seems to feel about Trump as I do. Are we “we”?
It’s just best to be “I.”

I honestly don’t have a problem with abrasive people and I don’t have a problem with greenboy based solely on the fact that he’s “abrasive”. Older posters can confirm that I have been one of the few defenders of the most abrasive poster to have ever posted on this site.

I don’t have a problem with abrasive people, and have enjoyed my interactions with people like @orion and Professor X. What I don’t like is for someone to move to personal insults, and then start screaming bloody murder when someone reacts with scorn or disapproval or mockery or whatever.
@anna_5588 is nice. I would never intentionally insult her. When someone calls me “stupid as fuck” I feel less constrained.
