Gym Clothes

I have a bunch of different under armor shirts (loose fit. None of the paint on shirt stuff for me) I got from work. Either black or blue… along with a few cut off sleeved shirts I throw in some times (usually I dont like working out sleeveless cause I feel like a tool)

Then for shorts I have two favorite Nike shorts… ones a little shorter for running and squat days. The other is a normal dry fit athletic shor… 3 or 4 pairs of each.

If you wear the same stuff and wash it each night, that’s fine…but wouldn’t you find it odd if almost everyone in your gym wore the same stuff? I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone.

That’s all I got. How’s your Saturday?
For the gym, I only have two shirts, a pair of shorts, and a pair of pants. That’s it. Since I workout 5-6 days a week and only wash those clothes weekly, I can sort of see where those guys are coming from.

Gym clothes smell funky as fuck as soon as I finish a work out, but if you hang them up somewhere where there’s ventilation or fresh air, they smell fine the next morning. It’s the same thing with towels. You shower daily [or bathe if you’re a ho] but I doubt you have 7 towels. You might argue that you towel your fresh, clean body [no homo] so it’s not the same, but if you don’t shampoo everyday that argument isn’t entirely true.

Plus OP IIRC you’re in an Asian country so a) It may be the norm there, b)You probably feel like you’re in the Twilight Zone whether you’re in the gym or not, and c)Saturday just started here, so there’s no point in asking how it was.
Yeah, I’m in Taiwan.
I’ve noticed a lot of mimicry here.

One time me and a buddy were benching and long story short we had a 35, a 10 and a 25 on either side ( we were lifting different weights, so we had it like this so we could easily switch) and the guys on the Smith Machine next to us had the same…35, 10 and a 25. WTF?

About 5 or 6 times now I’ve been running on the treadmill and the guy next to me will do the same incline and speed as me. WTF?

I wear the same thing every day. I do a lot of washing. I’m still losing weight and I’m not going to buy multiples of things only to get rid of them as they get too big. My shoes (Jacks) get a lot of looks, too. Being a female at a gym where I’m the only female doing squats and deads it appears I should have a different, color coordinated outfit for every day of the week (insert 80’s comment here, I mean WTF). Everyone knows who I am though. Ha!

I have three or four sets of sweats, which I tend to mix and match depending on what is clean. I sometimes wear a loose shirt if the weather is hot.

A : You are cool. Wear what works for you end of story.

B : I have been known to train ( in JH and HS ) in most of my school uniform. I have been seen, training, chest, back, arms, legs whatever, in long sleeved plaid, or denim shirts, and army BDU’s, I have also been seen in just the pants portion of an ‘ancient’ Karate uniform.

I do not own anything that does not have at least short sleeves.

What do I win?

Abercrombie track pants and beaters ftw. grabs super heavy weight I cant do with good form when hot chick is looking

I have many shirts and wash them after each time I wear them, even if I don t work out in them.
Then I have 2 shorts and 2 pants, which I sometimes wear several times.

I also own several towels, of which I am very proud and wash them after each use.

Flip flops and a thong…

no but really, have 2 pairs of black shorts and 1 pair of sweat pants. and like 10 tees that are old or shitty that I just grab whenever I go.

WTF is right

I have 7 different Nike Legend t-shirts (Dry Fit).

I have about 6 mesh workout shorts.

I hit the gym for weights 3 times per week, play Ultimate Frisbee twice per week, flag football once per week, softball twice per week, and do just cardio in the gym twice per week. I have to wash my workout clothes/shower towels every couple days.

2 shorts, bout 5 or 6 shirts. I think wearing plaid board shorts is goofy but thats just me.

two of those

two nike shorts
two nike pro s/l shirts (worn under the t-shirt)

i usually were the shirts and shorts twice in a row, and give the nike pro a quick clean in the shower after every use.
so yeah, i’m in the gym always wearing the same.

I have a worn out shorts i use when i squat and deadlift. other than that i just wear whatever i allready have on. i.e a lose fitting band t-shirt and shorts/sweatpants/cargo pants

I have my gym at home so I generally work out naked. Or when my friends are over to lift I wear muscle shirts and shorts. I have 4 muscle shirts and 5 or 6 pairs of basketball shorts.

I have two identical work out shirts. I wear the same thing to the gym every time I work out. I get a kick from everyone staring at my Five Fingers though.

I wear old t shirts or my rugby gear, and a pair of tight shorts. I don’t know why but I just prefer wearing tight shorts to loose ones.

i wear the same thing every time i train.
