DB, my new favorite drummer is Mario from Gojiira, his kit isn’t huge but it sure sounds huge, worth a look imo. Not sure if you like that kind of metal. Tommy Aldridge used to solo with his bare hands lol, I saw him when he toured with Ozzy, awesome.

At least I’ve got a good excuse - I was 7 when he died and I come from the not-so-musical side of my family, so it’s not like my parents have heard of him before I started listening to his stuff. On the other hand I got to see his son playing his stuff at the same festival as Bonamassa (see video I posted earlier today).

I don’t know I always just put youtube links. You just need the full link with the http:// at the beginning and it will show up.

Might not be to everybody’s taste, but these are some of my favourite solos ever. John’s takes a while to get going so hang in there.

I don’t know what I have, really… I know I have live audio around, not sure about recent video. Certainly nothing newer than about 3 years ago. I know I have some old VHS of me playing bars and other gigs when I was in high school, but I’d have to convert those somehow.
The solo is fun as hell to play. Actually the whole song in general is pretty good to play on guitar.
