I was actually looking at the wrist wraps again cos my left one keeps exploding open. In the end managed to resist the urge to impulse buy some Gangsta wraps cos durability wise I think they beat the SBDs and I liked the big thumb/wrist loop when I tried my mates one

Having some second thoughts about the program. I like it but looking at the next few weeks and months worth of lifting and I think I need a tad more volume. Discussion in this thread:

Felt meh today but formwise and not like clean but got in the work with pauses and regular sumo pulls. Pushed through fast for the lols.

Was gonna gets lift in yesterday but after getting the flu shot thought better of going in and doing all kinds of shoulder raises.

Early morning workout and felt terrible cos of it lol. I remember reading somewhere that people lift better in the afternoon and evening?
Still a bit sore in spots (back, quads and skin on my hand lol) from last workout but it’s probably to be expected cos I got like 12 hours less rest between workouts.
Anyways it was cold as so had to throw the flannel back on every half an hour for a bit to warm up.

Squats felt sloppy but I blame that on the morning lol. Felt like it took a long time to complete

Felt alright. I think the sore lower back actually improved my set up lol. Ran through bench pretty fast like. Couldn’t really be bothered trying some new bench set ups today so next time.

Today was mostly just cos I’m not a morning person nevermind hitting the gym at half past six. No sleep, no days worth of food in ma belly, no music and other excuses so I’m not surprised this was a tough session

Don’t start crying over lifting early. From Aug-Nov of this year I lifted at 5. Got up at 4. Just so I could lift due to coaching duties. To top that off there was/is no hot water at the field house. It was brutal after working out when the cold weather got here…
