Moving Day
New share house in Bendigo is pretty good the most important thing is aircon lol.
Bendigo gains at Feel Good Fitness with the boys. No sexy calibrated equipment but do you really need all that shit?
First mid week workout in forever and feels weird and awkward. Had no exact plan to follow so hit some bench. Mostly just talked shit with the boys lol
Pause Bench
90kg x 4,4,4,4,4,4
Meant to be a low volume bench day but did a bit more than that lol so skipped any more pressing/assistance work. High frequency high volume seems to be the wae though.
Bit awkward on new equipment and the bar doesn’t have IPF markings so have to guesstimate every time. Maybe I’ll rust transition into a wider grip using the new rings.
Bench is also pretty slippery so for the first time ever tried out putting bands on the bench and the it felt better but I’m missing the comp bench. Will probably miss the deadlift jack also.
Probably do pause bench low reps mostly and throw in some close grip benching touch and go.
Rows
Feeling weak as I guess cos I haven’t done them for a long time lol. The good thing is it means there’s gains to be made (remade?) so I went around the gym looking at what kind of rows I could do. Probably won’t do bent barbell rows to save the back so we have:
Cable Ro 35
Chest Supported Row 20
Externally rotating at the shoulder like in the bench is a good cue to “feel” my back more.
Pretty much a fuck around session lol and for sure gonna take a while to get used to three times a week training again.
Hamstring is on track and will feel out the hips with some squatting next session.
When you have to cope with going from having everything you could ever want to losing it all.
The only time I have caffeine is with vodka redbulls, so it would probably take less for me.
