I always buy in bulk online. A certain very popular bodybuilding site always has different kinds of protein on sale. I always find a buy one get one free deal on like a five pound tub and get 10lbs for like $50-75. Lasts at least a couple months and I usually drink 2-4 scoops a day depending on if training or not that day
I don’t think there’s anything that cheap in Australia. I bought 4 lbs for $50 just the other day.
Edit never mind AUD to USD conversions
Search up Blackbelt protein
$5 off. Tbh the difference between isolate and concentrate is fuck all so why even bother with the more expensive stuff
Cos I can get isolate cheaper BPP concentrate lol
When you try to downsell but you offer an inferior product that’s more expensive lel

Power Flannel and protein arrived today.
Power Flannel is not flattering fit wise but is well built warm and comfy as fuck. Good luck filling out the arms of you like that look cos you’d need 25 inch fatceps to do that.
Pls turn this
Into dis with better photoshop: @duketheslaya vs @Kniebuigkoning
Got the whey but haven’t tried yet so no review on the taste but I’m looking forward to that Mocha action when I open it up
Derrimut Gym / Protein 24 7 (same thing I think) have sales going on all the time and not like that 20% off for Christmas bull shit but really good deals. Often cheaper than BulkNutrients and companies like that if you are in Australia.
$49 for 4 lb and free shipping February

I’m just looking through this thread and came across your question. My advice is to just watch a whole bunch of youtube videos on using hook grip, there are many slight variations and the way one person explains it might not work at all while someone else’s explanation could be perfect for you.
I tried messing around with hook grip a couple years back but it hurt like hell and I couldn’t pull anyhting heavy with it. I later made the change after switching to sumo, what I realized is that I had been doing it totally wrong before with only my index finger on my thumb. What works for me is trying to wrap my middle finger over the last knuckle of my thumb and also squeezing with my index finger, I don’t try to get my ring finger on my thumb at all like some people recommend. I have a power bar that is about 2mm thicker than a standard competition power bar so my grip always felt extra solid in meets and I bought a deadlift bar a few months ago (because fuck the IPF) and I’m sure I could grip way more than I could actually pull. I do all my regular deadlifts with hook grip and any variations with straps, I’m not sure how much practice I need with hook grip but I prefer to err on the side of more than enough but I also don’t want to destroy my thumbs. I don’t do comp. deadlifts for high reps, but if you do I highly recommend using straps for that. I tried doing that at one point and I thought my thumbs were going to explode after a heavy set of 8, the ends of my thumbs were purple for a week.
