Got sick for a week with COVID-like symptoms. Fortunately turned out to be nothing and I’m back at work. Solid work either side of being sick though:

Sumo Dids: 252.5kg x 9, 255kg x 8
Back Squat: 175kg x 8, 180kg x 7
Bench: 115kg x 8

I’m effectively a DL specialist after how the last two blocks have gone. Will keep pushing squat as best I can but more excited to see where DL goes. Aiming for 300kg natty at the moment. Might dabble in some soviet sports supplements after if life/health/training things are in the right place. Might not. Maybe an Australian record in the future if I’m lucky and some freak doesn’t come through and push it out of reach.

Looking at the end of this year to coincide with the school holidays. Working as a teacher isn’t really conducive to peak performance but I can still be productive and build during the year at least.

Dunno where me numbers will be by then but 650-700 probs. Just wanna progress, hit some PRs (not necessarily all time PRs on meet day) and crack 300kg on DL again doesn’t have to be on meet day more focused on biggest total.

*also get jacked and juicy af physique wise but really pushing that may have to wait. We’ll see if an Australian record is in shooting distance. If so will stick to weight class. If nah then will disregard weight classes, not care about being competitive against others (just absolute strength progress vs myself) and just do what is best to get bigger and stronger.
