The 2hrs/session part :joy::joy:

Ups dose

Ur gonna have to give to get my friend. To be fair u can go a long way with a few hard sets per comp lift a week. It’s not ideal but you’ll make decent gains depending on how u play it. $1000 I’ll write u a program ez

Lol. Nah, the context is that I might have 2 months with a barbell. Was thinking of how to maximize the two months to get back as close as possible to where I was before lockdown

After the two months, not sure how soon i can have access again. Hopefully not too long

My shoulders are still pretty messed up, so its nothing but squats and deads for a couple months I reckon. Im coming.

Priority 1 is still to build functional tissue (or maintain in the worse case). Muscle is the base for everything else. Simple as work hard RPE 6+ in the 6-20 rep range with movements that hit the relevant musculature twice a week. Total weekly volume will have to be experimented with but working hard will get you bang for your buck stimulus/set wise. Can do it with full gym ez but with a bit of creativity can make it work with less equipment.

I like competition for the sake of it. Is good fun. Even if it’s just a small boost I’ll take ur support. 300kg seems realistic sooner or later at the moment so will take all the help I can get.

Who knows… there’s a few Australian records in range (300.5kg-325kg) if some freak doesn’t come around and smash em (maybe with a cycle or two). Hehe gotta love having multiple feds plenty of records to choose from. Powerlifting is all about picking out obscure records to claim no?

What I consider the true Australian DL record regardless of fed is bit much unfortunately ~ 350kg.

EDIT @ 90kg

That at 90kg I assume? I still have aspirations to compete at a shredded 82.5.

Competition is great, as long as I win.

Ye 90kg class. 83s is 340kg because there’s a freak deadlifter in that class. If you do become an Australian leave one of the lighter records for me.

Thats pretty huge at 83. Tested or untested?

You and @Pinkylifting are probably two of the strongest people in the forums

I will need help when I finally get to set up the bb. Sources in China say that there’s the chance of mum going back In June

Untested but dudes skinny af. Just top 5 freakiest sumo boiz on earth. If he gains some fookin weight who knows what he could do.

I’ll take above average DL on here atm. I consider @Pinkylifting closer to elite tho. If we were US based the competition would be more ferocious. Even Pinkybrah looks average amongst all those monsters.

My dL was “elite” my squat was “above average “ and my bench was “somewhat respectable “

The first sessions back will probably involve a lot of tears for me :joy:

Try think long term. Short term poor performance… a blip or two is insignificant in a long term context.
