They are different designs. One looks more phat so hopefully that would have more pad
I’ve used a couple SSBs and none of them have that little padding, seems annoying. Just move to the US, equipment seems cheaper here.
Maybe when y’all stabilise as a society
Fixed
Ty fam
Yea, she’s right. Maybe just try Canada.
Chill deadlift day today. Was entertaining some new friends at the garage so whipped out the deadlift bar and bumper plates for the first time since I hit 270kg for a dub a few months ago (me heaviest pulls so far).
Bit unfamiliar with the significant whip but the meme deadlift powers are still there. Definitely be taking a run at 300kg or more or the bumpers sometime in future.
Hit 240kg for kicks and supported the boiz in hitting 1kg deadlift PBs each (change plates lel) at 221kg and 201kg. Nice time all around.
They got the vids so will post em when I get em.
In other news grabbed a micro adjustable AKA PAL lever from Pioneer and split on an SSB from Verve Fitness. Will be fun. Probably should stop spending. I have a problem.

Having to share equipment is a terrible problem, but at the rate you’re going you’ll have one of everything soon enough, lol.
Noice. My Christmas list is going to be exclusively weightlifting gear. Thinking my next move is going to be a pulley system, maybe a new belt, and a slingshot or something.
Hack squat leg press combo machine coming right up
Just going down the list of priorities I guess. Cables definitely versatile.
Yea, I’m going to give it a month or so (at least that’s my aspiration) to get in a groove with what I have before buying anything else major (like a different bar or monolift attachment).
Deadlift bar is probably my favourite piece because deads is fun
Got pretty warm in the garage today ~ 35 degree Celsius (95 F) for squats with some mates. Survivable but for the summer months when it’ll get over 40 we’ll be looking at one of em cooli fan boiz like the water vapour one or however it works.
Turns out me Sheiko Gold subscription ran out recently didn’t realise so it wouldn’t spit out a workout for me. Kinda knew generally what was up anyway so hit some more pause squats. Top set 175kg and some back off work. Pretty cruisy work didn’t wanna push but me mate hit a PB double at 120kg to make up for it.
Now that my Sheiko Gold subscription has lapsed isa good time to think about where we go moving forward. Not sure I’ll continue to be honest. Maybe coaching I dunno. Maybe cruise for a bit.
Just floating for now. No program in particular upper body sesh at McQuinns gym.
Top bench single 130kg at RPE not the cleanest I’ve ever hit it. DB work. All the machines. Good pump.
Ima run my own program for a bit. Nothing too crazy. Also picked up a friend for some coaching. He is relatively new to powerlifting so should be easy gains. He hit a PR 160kg x 2 today so that’s a PR two sessions in a row so guess that convinced him to go with GuineaPigCoachingServices Ptyltd
Hit 210kg x 12 sumo deads.
3x3 Tempo Squat 155kg
2x8 High Bar 130kg
